You’re still making the same blunder. On the contrary, aircraft carriers are used when facing a powerful country. Only a strong navy will have an aircraft carrier because those sea vessels you see are used to convey powerful fighter jets which are necessary for fighting a strong country.

In these modern days as you put it, aircraft carriers are nuclear powered and often networked with supporting destroyers and operate with EW, Close-In-Weapons Systems, SeaRAM missiles and even lasers.

There will be no need equipping a carrier with all these advanced weapons systems if it is meant for weaker countries.
