The inspector general of police, Kayode Egbetokun have shown the public that he is unqualified to be the inspector general of Nigeria police following the use of live bullets on protesters by the police which have led to the deaths of many protesters. Rubber bullets are what is supposed to be used by security operatives in protests and not live ammunition that will lead to death of protesters and passerbys. In most develop countries guns are not brought to protesting ground by the police only teargas and baton and water canister dispersing vehicle but here in Nigeria the head of the police Kayode Egbetokun has shown the world how unprofessional and unethical he was in dispatching his police duty on peaceful protesters. What the inspector general of police should do before resigning over the deaths of peaceful protesters is for the police force to compensate the families of those who were killed during the End bad governance protest by the Nigeria police with reasonable amount of money and tender public apology to the Nigeria people on behalf of the Nigeria police force. Failure of the inspector general of police Kayode Egbetokun to do the right thing and correct the public mistake of the Nigeria police on peaceful protesters might lead to revolt against the Nigeria police on the land of Nigeria by Nigerians. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTipI1N6DXY&pp=ygUmUGVhY2VmdWwgUHJvdGVzdGVycyBLaWxsZWQgaW4gTmlnZXJpYSA%3D Nigerian Police killed 13 Peaceful protesters in Kano 2 Likes

Freestar:The IGP is a bastard liar and a corrupt inspector general of police, and the IGP should put pride aside and honorably resign before he is force to resign. The video evidence that the Nigeria police shoot at peaceful protesters is over the social media and even foreign media houses reported about the unethical act of the Nigeria police towards peaceful protesters like the video below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CopOcOQBus8&pp=ygUmUGVhY2VmdWwgUHJvdGVzdGVycyBLaWxsZWQgaW4gTmlnZXJpYSA%3D Police fire gunshots, tear gas as thousands protest the crisis in Nigeria The stupid inspector general of police, Kayode Egbetokun should fear God. 3 Likes |

This is just another case of misplaced priorities. Instead of addressing the root causes of protests, they resort to violence. Nigeria police really need to learn how to handle civil unrest without bloodshed. 5 Likes |
