Enugu LG Election: How I’ll SCALE UP Igboetiti Council Area— Herbert Chimezie by klintoski(m): 3:21pm On Aug 07
Ahead of the forthcoming Local Government Election in Enugu State, the people of Igboetiti local government might be on a path to socio-economic revolution with the entrance of Herbert Chimezie Nnadi into the race to occupy the highest position in the council.

With a strong background in community advocacy and a deep understanding of the socio-political landscape, Herbert Chimezie Nnadi positioned himself as a leader who resonates with the aspirations of the people.

His vision is rooted in a desire to empower communities, promote social justice, and foster economic development. Nnadi's policies focus on addressing pressing issues such as education reform, healthcare access, and sustainable development. He has articulated these plans in what he called 'SCALE UP' agenda

The SCALE UP agenda which is contained in his 58-paged manifesto, is both a governance attitude and a mnemonic that will engender the following outcomes:

S: Strengthening Community Infrastructure. "Building robust roads, bridges, and public facilities to support a thriving local economy and ensure safety and convenience for all residents."

C: Creating Job Opportunities-to empower the youth and women with access to ICT and digital space, and promoting agricultural transformation to ensure food sufficiency and security.

"Promoting local businesses and attracting new investments to generate employment opportunities, reduce poverty, and improve the standard of living."

A: Access to Quality Basic Education promoting STEM and Entrepreneurship Curriculum.

"Enhancing educational facilities, training teachers, and providing scholarships to ensure every child has access to quality education, paving the way for a brighter future."

L: Leveraging Technology for Governance-e-ticketing for tracking rates and fees to stimulate Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) for economic growth and development.

"Implementing e-governance solutions to make local government services more accessible, efficient, and transparent, reducing bureaucratic delays and corruption."

E: Environmental Sustainability - Green and renewable energy adaptation and enhancing sanitary practices such as ending open defecation.

"Launching initiatives to protect and sustain the environment and our common planet, including waste management programs, tree planting, and promoting renewable energy sources."

U: Uniting the Communities.

"Fostering 24/7 security services, unity and social cohesion by supporting cultural festivals, sports events and community-driven projects that celebrate diversity and bring people together."

P: Providing Quality Healthcare Maternal, child and elderly healthcare incentive programme.

"Improving healthcare facilities, ensuring the availability of essential medications, running public health campaigns to ensure a healthy and productive populace."

"NNADI'S CHARISMA AND ABILITY TO CONNECT WITH DIVERSE GROUPS HAVE HELPED HIM BUILD A BROAD COALITION OF SUPPORTERS. HE IS KNOWN FOR HIS TRANSPARENT AND INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP STYLE, WHICH ENCOURAGES PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AND DIALOGUE."...DR. BEN
