Conversely, based on more EVIDENCE now in the public domain, it turns out that the "dodgy" father of this 23-year-old girl called Chidimma is actually of pure Ibo ethnic origin from Enugu State (by the name of [Michael Okechukwu "Adetshina"] who is also a member of an Ibo (Igbo) ethnic sociopolitical group (Ohaneze Ndigbo) in South Africa as well and certainly came into South Africa using a forged family name identity. The name "Adetshina" is NOT a name of Ibo ethnicity, NEITHER is that spelling known to the Yoruba ethnic group of majorly Nigeria, Benin Republic, and Togo who number over 55 million worldwide. Chidimma also has two Ibo names (Chidimma and Onwe) in her full names Vanessa Chidimma Onwe "Adetshina" with NO single Yoruba name given to her since she was born 23 years ago and this is further proof that her father is of the Ibo ethnic group from Enugu State who ripped off or "stole" a popular Yoruba ethnic name (ADESINA) and corrupted it by adding the letters "T and "H" to it to form form the current meaningless surname his family uses today. ADESINA is the standard ethnic Yoruba spelling for that name [as can be seen BELOW in the names of Dr. Akinwumi A. Adesina who is the 8th elected President of the African Development Bank Group] and NOT "Adetshina." South Africans and other sincere folks of Nigerian descent had the right to ask probing questions and certainly, South Africans CANNOT be accused of xenophobia in this identify theft case here because many South Africans also stood by that 23-year-old girl right until the truth came out about her mother's identity crimes in 2001. It's PURE FORGERY and identity theft on the part of Chidimma's Mozambiqan descent mother and Ibo father! There have also been many overt attempts to suppress the ethnic Ibo identity of Chidimma's father here on Nairaland and on other social media platforms by some insidious and highly dishonest Ibos who continuously try to create threads and posts FALSELY claiming there is a Black South African hatred for all Nigerians over the Chidimma citizenship fraud and they criminally trivialize and DEFLECT attention from the FACTS coming out of South Africa here on NL OR derail NL threads such as this one and throw propaganda and insults especially towards people of Yoruba descent and non-Yoruba descent who have scrutinized and pointed out the many ODD and obviously FORGED and DODGY family name Chidimma's father and his family have been using in South Africa. I logged back on this Website and saw a newly created thread by Naptu2 indicating that the 23-year-old girl Chidimma has agreed to take part in a "Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant" organized by the iconic Ben Murray-Bruce. What intrigued me is that a LOT of uninformed posters on that newly created NL thread with the link BELOW do NOT realize that this girl's father is NOT a Yoruba man but a FULL-BLOODED Ibo from Enugu State like I indicated above based on EVIDENCE from South Africa that's in the public domain. These posters have to get themselves UPDATED about these forgery FACTS by Chidimma's mother in 2001 when Chidimma was born, and father (who we know fabricated the name "Adetshina" when he is actually an Ibo from Enugu State by the name of Michael Okechukwu "Adetshina" who has been a member of "Ohaneze Ndigbo" in South Africa). Some leading South African lawyers have also said the investigation by the Department of Home Affairs in South Africa would have grave consequences for both the 23-year-old Vanessa Chidimma Onwe "Adetshina" and ALL IMPLICATED family members. Given that her citizenship was granted on the basis of alleged misrepresentation by her mother that her mother was, in fact, a South African citizen, Smith (a lawyer) said section 48 of the Immigration Act may apply.
Upon the completion of the investigation, the Department of Home Affairs intends to press CRIMINAL charges against ALL implicated parties.
