the companies are not the reason for the increase in prices of cassava. Those companies have existed since 2012, the only new one was the one Along Kajola to Ore highway. The reason is inflation, cost of things have doubled from land clearing which used to be 30k to 50k has now jumped to 150k for a chain. inputs like herbicides have doubled in price per litre, glyphosate used to be 1500 for a litre, it is now almost 4500 to 6k per litre and reduction in the active ingredients.
