You are right my dear. God bless your reasoning.

That's what Tinubu has reduced our naira to.

Imagine using the money that we use to buy cow some years back for a single catfish.

Oh yea, fish is unnecessarily expensive in Epe. I stayed there years back and I think the demand for " fresh river fish" made the prices go up like that. And yes it would have been acceptable when animal feed was still cheap, not now that everything is expensive, so I'd pay top naira to the farmer who invested his time, money and effort, than to someone who simply caught fish.

Anyone who's ever done some farming would understand the amount of effort and risk it takes to raise any animal to adult stage... it's a lot of work and risk, so 100k isn't a lot.

Right

As said farmed fish suppose expensive

Our case study (epe) aligned too, I stayed there too some years back, maybe when we know about other riverine areas

We shall have a broader view of the discuss

There's no enough water to help the fish swim properly and the guy picking up the fish and letting it to land that way "calmed" the fish - it was hurt.

Cool
Thanks a lot

This could be the key to understanding the scam of monthly salary and long term Bank savings/Ajo contributions

Wrote something about that...dunno if you're interested
CriminalTinubu:

Very simple

N100k today @N1600/$1 = $62.50
$62.50 x dollar rate during Buhari era @ N750 = N46,875
GEJ era @ N200 = N12,500

And so on...

Are you in Nigeria at all
Where is catfish being sold at 2k per kg
ElevationD:
That fish looks like 15 - 20KG.

At 2,000:00 per kilo, its worth should be between 30 and 40K.

OP am I right or wrong?
Re: This Gigantic Catfish Was Sold For #100,000 (video/pictures) by EnterpriseMan(m): 6:10am On Aug 09
As someone who has a catfish farm, No one will buy that catfish for 100k. It's big but not even close to 100k unless it wasn't meant for eating but for spiritual reasons.

And people don't really go for older catfish for consuming because they basically no longer have flavor. The younger a catfish the better they taste.
