Festacman should come over and tribalise this as usual

To them, the Govt is suddenly doing everything within their power to sabotage the same firm they are suppling to

A lil issue between those two groups and all they could see is "If they could frustrate a business owner from a major tribe, then minority investors have no hope"

Spits on their childish logic

Keywords: “recent supply”.

Dangote had to shout before NNPCL started supplying them crude oil recently.

With this development, fuel price will crash to below N300 per litre and prices of goods and services will crash and become very affordable for Nigerians.

Tinubu is working. grin
In your own mind now, a monopolist like Dangote will help bring down fuel price. Remember what happened to cement. Keep dreaming.

One said insufficient crude supply and the other said 60% of crude demand. Both looks the same to me as 60% is still insufficient supply unless there is a way to balance the short fall through iocs

Good, then get to work. No more wailing. Tell Alhaji to be calming down. We just want Nigeria to work. If we can stop fuel importation, at least the Malta conundrum can be dealt with. We can save $160m every day. That's over $4bn every month. We need that money urgently.

This is great news! It shows that the partnership between Dangote and NNPC is strengthening. If NNPC is supplying 60%, it means the refinery is on the right track to achieving its full potential. Let’s continue to support this initiative so that our local production can thrive and reduce dependency on imports. Nigeria is on the rise!

How is 33% of 60% = 60%?

Nothing great about it
It is neutral news
It makes absolutely no difference where Dangote buys his crude unless NNPC sellsto him at a discount which effectively is a subsidy
Many people talk not because they have done any analysis of figures but from sentiment

The issue of selling to Dangote in Naira is a non issue
It they sell in Naira the opportunity cost is the dollars they would. NOT earn selling abroad which cancels out any dollar outflow Dangote would spend buying abroad
But because Nigerian crude is a premium crude up to $8 costlier than WTI potentially the government could lose 8x650 000X 365 dollars ayear by selling to Dangote instead of selling abroad
