So after buying this, he can't buy more?

Don’t mind them! Had it been a Alhaji whatever from the core north, they wouldn’t mind handing over control of a entire sector of the Nigerian economy to them! Buhari is evil personified, and i’m certain he and his partners in crime had a hand in the boardroom and community relations issues SEPLAT faced that led to the eventual stepping aside of Orjiakor and Avuru! SEPLAT had a harmonious boardroom and community relations until the coming of Buhari in 2015!

And you could just sense Buhari and Hadi-Sirika were not happy a Igbo mans airline was the market leader in the aviation sector too! It showed in how they tried to get Ethiopian airlines to be the Nigerian flag carrier and enjoy all the BASA agreements they didn’t want Air Peace to benefit from!

He started it during the opening ceremony of Dangote refinery.

He said they (Otedola & Dangote) first paid for the private ownership of refinery during Obasanjo administration but Yar’Adua entered and terminated the contract and refunded them in full.

That’s why he moved to Energy Generation and left the oil sector

Read properly. He bought the field from a private foreign company and not from FG .
When he wanted to bid for the ones FG listed Buhari blocked him

You are the one not reading properly. All oilfields in Nigeria are owned by FG with IOCs or NOCs under a JV or production sharing agreement.
So that OML 17 He bought it from an SPDC /NNPC JV then with SPDC as operator of the JV.

And now, after this revelation, Tony Elumelu needs to be more careful especially within the Nigeria space before he will be targeted.

You can't speak up against the major cabal of the North and Nigerian Muslim and still feel safe.

If you look at the oil Industry eeh it's sad a pity

70% of Nigerian oil wells are owned by Nigerians 30% foreigners

90% of Nigerian oil production comes from foreign owned oil wells

Developing an oil well requires minimum of 1 billion to around 100 billion depending on several factors

What Nigerians do is bribe their way to be given oil wells then go to Europe to use that license to take up loans some few are lucky to get partners who would buy them out and develop it

There should be a Law that says you must have 40% required developmental fees to develop a well before you bid

And if you fail to develop a well in 7 years you lose the well

2) fined 100 million dollars

3) banned from ever being in a board of a company that bids for oil wells

But again what do I know? I'm just an Igbo man
Spot on!

They blocked him because he is Igbo from Delta state. The atrocities of Buhari can never fully accounted for even after his death. Buhari is an evil that knows no bound and his driving force is the hatred due to the civil War of 1963-70. Even in his hometown of Daura currently, he harbors grudges and pains and wished Igbo are wiped out of the Nigerian map. Someone called it an "ancient hatred" in CHANNEL TV
I agree, they blocked him because he is Igbo from Delta state. Nothing like Delta Igbo. Thanks

But I am from the east oh. I have 18 years local/intl Oil and gas industry experience so I know what am talking about.

Remember when all done and dusted we will all be 6 feet down. No sad east or West. North and South there. This our generation should learn to outgrow all this nonsense.
