A prominent member of the infamous group of millionaire kidnappers who was slain during their raid at Ladipo Market last month has been identified by detectives from the Lagos State Police Command’s Special Squad Unit.

Before this, just one gang leader—well-known Nollywood actor and producer Prince Henry Ode from Port Harcourt—and around four of his film industry associates who were also involved in the violent altercation with the police had been recognized.

Lagos’s Large Case Files

According to recent investigations conducted by CSP Kehinde Oni, 42 case files about the gang’s activities at several Lagos police stations were discovered.

CSP Oni said, “It was a shocking discovery.” “The amount of evidence against the group is overwhelming and highlights the scope of their illegal activity.”
