BA is not the only flight from Heathrow to Lagos and Abuja, most passengers will book other airlines rather than landing in Borno or Akure and BA will loose its customers be it Nigerians or not.

End of the matter is BA and Virgin will lose passengers to competitors who are able to land in Lagos and Abuja because they are flying to Ebonyi.

Nigerians fly that route far more than Brits but BA takes a huge chunk of the profit in that route.
I have flown to Britain from Abuja but have never used BA nor Virgin Atlantic. This is to let you know that there are other options open to Nigeria. So if BA are excluded from that route, BA will lose economically
