I will advise you to COLLECT THE LOAN AND DIE BEFORE PAYING IT BACK You want looters to lend you money which will only be re-looted once you pay it back? With my little knowledge of underwriting during my days in the banking system then, the loan will be written off.. Is going to be a bad debt for FG, but in a situation where by it a working person that was given the loan, the person's pension will be used to offset the remaining of the loan, that's if the person has upto the balance as pension, if not they take what they have and write the remaining off... The loan should normally pass with the borrower unless they have assets in their name that the lender can use to recover some or all the money This is why people establish private trusts to protect their assets. Every Nigerian should be educated about private trusts. Having a will is not enough |
