I am a master's student at Ulster University, currently conducting research on the palm oil industry in Nigeria. I am reaching out to kindly ask for your valuable input on a survey I have designed to better understand the experiences of smallholder farmers in Nigeria.

The aim of my research is to explore how smallholder oil palm farming compares to larger corporate operations, and to assess the impact of different farming practices on your livelihood and the environment. Your insights are crucial for identifying the challenges you face and the practices you use, and they will greatly contribute to improving the palm oil industry in Nigeria.

The survey includes simple, straightforward questions about your farming practices and experiences. It should only take about 20-25 minutes to complete. I have made sure the questions are easy to understand, so you can share your thoughts comfortably.

Your participation is completely voluntary, and your responses will be kept confidential. The information you provide will be used solely for academic purposes and to develop recommendations that could benefit smallholder farmers and the industry as a whole.
