Interview :italy Based Nigerian Gospel Singer Vina Ernesto Talks About His Album by Revolva(m): 11:45am On Aug 15
Interviewer: Hello Vina Ernesto, it's great to have you here. Congratulations on your new album! Can you tell us more about it and what inspired this project?

Vina Ernesto: Thank you so much! This new album is a very special project for me. It's a fusion of Highlife rhythms and Gospel messages, reflecting my journey as an artist and my faith. The inspiration came from my experiences living between Nigeria and Italy, and I wanted to create something that resonates with people from both cultures.
Interviewer: The launch is just around the corner, taking place on October 19th at Casa Delle Associazioni San Dona Di Piave Via Svezia in Italy. What can your fans expect from the event?

Vina Ernesto: It's going to be an amazing night! I’m excited to share my new music with everyone. Fans can expect a mix of energetic Highlife beats and powerful Gospel lyrics. We’ve got a great lineup for the night, and I’ll be performing live with my band. There will be moments of worship, celebration, and a lot of dancing, so I hope everyone is ready to have a good time.
Interviewer: That sounds fantastic! You're also planning on shooting visuals for songs from your previous EP, Enjoy Yourself. Can you tell us more about that?

Vina Ernesto: Yes, absolutely. The Enjoy Yourself EP was a project close to my heart, and I feel like the songs still have a lot to offer visually. We’re working on some music videos that will capture the essence of each track, blending the vibrancy of Highlife with visuals that reflect both my Nigerian roots and my life in Italy. I believe this will bring a new dimension to the music.
Interviewer: It’s exciting to hear that you’re keeping your older work alive. Looking ahead, do you have any plans to collaborate with other artists?

Vina Ernesto: Definitely. I’m in talks with a few renowned artists, both from Nigeria and Italy. Collaborating with other musicians is something I’m really passionate about because it allows us to bring different styles and perspectives together. While I can’t reveal too much yet, I’m confident these collaborations will bring something fresh and unique to the Gospel and Highlife scenes.
Interviewer: We can't wait to see what you have in store! As an artist who has successfully blended cultures and genres, what advice would you give to upcoming musicians trying to make their mark?

Vina Ernesto: My advice would be to stay true to yourself and your roots. It’s important to embrace where you come from and let that shine through in your music. Also, be persistent and don’t be afraid to experiment with different sounds and ideas. The music industry can be tough, but if you’re passionate and dedicated, your hard work will pay off.
Interviewer: That’s great advice. Before we wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with your fans?

Vina Ernesto: I just want to thank everyone for their support over the years. It means so much to me. I’m really looking forward to sharing this new album with you all and seeing you at the launch event. And stay tuned for more music and visuals coming soon!
Interviewer: Thank you so much, Vina, for sharing your time and thoughts with us. We wish you the best of luck with the album launch and all your future projects.

Vina Ernesto: Thank you! It’s been a pleasure.
