A Man's Shocking Experience With Nigerian Hawkers by Ishilove: 9:26pm On Aug 15 |
A netizen shared his experience with Nigeria hawkers in Abuja. He was in a generous mood and decided to give back to the society. However, what his eyes saw during the whole exercise left him feeling weak and restless. Two days ago I went out intending to give 5 random hawkers 20k each. 300 Likes 43 Shares

Crude as the method is, people are trying to survive. If you go round Nigeria looking for a Saint before you can help, I bet you, you won't find a single one. So just do what you must and let their conscientious judge them. That way, you would've taught them a lesson they won't quickly forget. None of us is truly righteous. 197 Likes 32 Shares |

My goodness! If only they knew what he had in stock for them. This is how a lot of people miss their blessings with their anyhow behavior. Later they'll tell you all na hustle. Too much rot in the system for real. 365 Likes 27 Shares |

Ishilove:Just 2 out of million hawkers. A larger sample size is more accurate because the study gets closer to the actual population size. 53 Likes 5 Shares |

Ishilove: nothing i have not seen or experienced before. sympathy for the poor in nigeria is dangerous because they see you as an alakowe sucker to be fleeced. in the right circumstances, several of them will have no problem with murdering you for your money. whatever you think you have done for them in the past does not matter. Poco has detailed some experiences she has had in the past when people she did business with regularly thought they had an upper hand and showed colour 105 Likes 11 Shares |

Na so... Their slogan these days is --"Na who loose guard nai fvck up". Just imagine, their greed had made them to lose what he had in stock for them........ Honesty truly pays.. Don't be deceived. 58 Likes 8 Shares |

doggedfighter: Anything to farm likes and shares is welcome. You wanted to give 20k to 5 hawkers. You had 2 bad experiences, and immediately ran to Facebook to cry. Why not buy 200 naira bottled water and just give the seller 20k? Afterall he/she won't cheat you. Tomorrow, it will be about Fuel attendants or something 64 Likes 6 Shares |

Unfortunately he met hawkers from South. Probably South Easterners. If say na Northern hawkers he met, he wouldn't have been this disappointed. Northerners are upright and have integrity. 122 Likes 3 Shares

VikingKing: The emboldened statement right there is the problem of Nigerians. I am reiterating this statement for the umpteenth time that there is a “Witchcraft Virus” in the DNA of EVERY Nigerian. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR ACTS OF “EYE-SERVICE” KINDNESS. That act of Kindness you see them do - is simply preparing the ground for your slaughter. I know them like the back of my hand. The Politicians (Leaders) are even SAINTS compared to the CITIZENS (Followers). I say this with utmost conviction, unless Nuclear Missiles are deployed to wipe out at least 95% of Nigerians; trust me - Nigeria can never get better. Evaluate the pattern. Our Parents have been praying for Nigeria since the early 70’s. And what is the result of those Prayers again ? RETROGRESSION, FRY PAN TO FIRE, 5 STEPS FORWARD - 500 STEPS BACKWARDS. Why? The Foundation of EVERY HOUSEHOLD & FAMILY TREE in NIGERIA (including EVERY STATE & FEDERAL SEAT OF POWER) were laid on WITCHCRAFT & BLACK MAGIC; And no matter how you twist it; You can never use these DIABOLICAL VICES for any POSITIVE ADVANCEMENT. NEVER! 36 Likes 2 Shares |
