This just occurred to me today, I wanted going for solar energy for my business but I discovered that I am currently short of funds, so I thought of trade by barter, why can't the traders exchange the goods with what is equivalent to that in my possession, like physical goods or just a service I render.

The introduction of money in business has really taken so many things away from us that we enjoyed in the past.

Do you think reintroducing trade by barter will make life easier for all?

Why must we always use money to get what we want, and this has given room to many vices in the world today.
Let's know your opinion in the comment section.

In Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, Yuval Noah Harari described an apple farmer battering apples for a pair of shoes. He also pointed out the difficulty of trading barley for a divorce.

Its a good read, or listen.

Have you heard of mobile phone swapping?

It's just your bargaining power.

Mods don't you think this is a an insightful thread? This can actually help Nigerians this hard time. Imagine having plenty pots but you don't have food, you can simply swap one pot for one carton of indomie, that way... Problem is solved grin
