I tell people that yorubas are the ones exploiting and killing this country just like the fulanis hiding under the northerners. Look at the oppressor they produced in the name of president, just busy stealing and filling his pockets. The yorubas in that industry are more than these. They produce every rubbish we consume in this country using nafdac to verify it while they term other peoples own fake....very wicked people

Asides being entitled to your opinion, you didnt make a valid point as to how yorubas are killing the country

The summation of Nigeria problem is "corruption" .. naa only yoruba people corrupt

How is the real money in upstream? And the biggest player right now is Tinubu's Oando (with acquisition of Agip). See meaning of upstream and downstream below (which I'm sure most u.folks don't know!)
Isn't upstream where the exploration is confined to? That's where the money comes as it holds the greatest risks.

Is the list for Upsream only ? No AA Rano, no Salbas. Minus NNPC these 2 people who are family controls 70% of the remaining of oil distribution in Abuja where I live and Atleast 50% of the remaining Nothern states.. The list is either biased or the person sat down in his room and wrote fiction

Na businessday news so the ethnic gaslighting isn't surprising.

The list was deliberately crafted to make it look like Yorubas are the major beneficiaries. They just included any big or small oil trading firm with Yoruba interest to overbloat their numbers.

It's common knowledge that Northerners and Igbos basically have the upstream sector (where the real money is) on locked down.

The werey even still put Otedola for Forte Oil.

Where are the likes of Matrix Energy, ND Western, Waltersmith, etc.? Na Yorubas get them?
Matrix Energy owner is a Yoruba man from Osun State, Ede to be precise.

When you go through this long list and notice how just a few South South people made the list, you understand that Nigeria is a country that doesn't care about fairness, justice and equity. You just grab whatever you can and run with it - like our president taught us. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

As at the time most of those oil leases and allocations were made, South South(with the exception of Edo and parts of Delta) was still part of (South) East. Brothers had not yet been separated artificially by those who do not like them.

I can only agree with your last statement. Most of the people on that list got into the oil business through dubious means but being from the region also doesnโ€™t mean you should be given free oil blocs, in fact thatโ€™s against equity and justice you talked about.

This media propaganda never stop? They say Northerns are the one dominating oil industry but evidence shows now that they are not.
Babe, no too dey believe everything you see on media, even this one.

you've got the energy and I like that. I can't imagine seeing the list of people that had your destiny lock down you took their defense.

who tribe help in this country? for as many tribal leaders I've seen in Nigeria are just out to use all the tribal fools to enrich themselves.

I was busy looking out to see more successful Yรณrรนbรก's in that industry not knowing someone else will be angry many Yรณrรนbรก's are being protected.

don't mind that one, rather than see our problems he is busy playing tribal card to defend tribesmen that don't give a damn about him. out of 24 men list we have 10 Yรณrรนbรก's, 10 Igbos and the rest he is the ranting.

I know this list will result in this.

Are Igbos up to 10 there ?

And you think Igbos control that??
As for money, the dustributor/marketer is always richer than producer. Tinubuโ€™s Oando is both producer and marketer.

You didn't include the owner of the Malta refinery ni ? The one who exports our crude oil , refines it from his refinery and imports it back to us and pays himself subsidy.
What a godfearing kind hearted man. I believe he deserves to be up on that list wink
He doesn't even refine it. He just adds some chemicals to the crude and imports it as refined.
