Suspected members of the Biafra Nations League, BnL, have killed three Cameroonian Gendarmes in Atabong East of Bakassi Peninsula, collecting their rifles. Report said the BnL boys numbering five overwhelmed three Gendarmes at the market hitting them hard with weapons, one of them who quickly snatched a gun shot the three officers and ran away with the guns. This happened at 11am today, Sunday, August 18. Separatists has been troubling the Bakassi Peninsula especially armed forces loyal to the BnL. Operational Coordinator of BnL, Henry Edet confirmed the incident.
