Why is this statement so dull and even more annoying. What's the public business about your personal worth. Is the Commonwealth of the N70,000 earning populace a compensation for your dwindled personal wealth. Is this Sex- Senator sensible at all? We're talking about National money, all of our money. His former wealth is a problem of his wife, children and intimacy gadgets vendors. |

Lol. If you put emotions aside and look at the issues critically, N29m monthly is inadequate for the average Nigerian politician especially the one that wants to be in the good books of their people, continue to win elections, wield political influence, attract patronage from bigger politicians & dictate things. The average Nigerian senator spends tens of millions of Naira every month catering to their district’s needs in the areas of health care, education, personal matters (weddings, provision of food, naming ceremonies, burials, employment) etc. These requests/demands don’t even stop. What is however untenable is for our politicians to be receiving ridiculous allowances to wit: wardrobe, newspaper and journals, vehicle allowance etc. |
