But the more they close the gap the more the exchange rate keeps going higher, And the cbn continue to close the gaps. Which further mess up the economy and pushed the petrol price higher even after subsidy removal and with government paying more subsidy then they met and Nigerians paying 4 to 5 times the price for PMS and diesel.

You can't close a currency gap without releasing enough to go round. Nigerians depends on black markets for their exchange and CBN id closing gaps of currency they didn't release. The effect is black market will continue to distance itself from the official rate
