civilserva:He is saying for the record purpose. You guys from east make us to believe before now, that Imo state has the highest gas reserves and it shows is false. My Edo state even has higher than Imo state and the other eastern states. Everytime you people will say, Lagos is feeding on imo gas. I can say now, that Ondo state power the gas, Lagos state depend on not imo or any other of your states. Most of una too lie. We need something like this to expose lies been peddle everyday by liars. |

immortalcrown: Talking about militants, I think we need to critically analyzed why insecurity in Nigeria will remain forever no matter what is done by any government. The main point is that, any activity that involves money exchanges from one to another has come to stay in Nigeria. Every zone has its peculiar insecurities investment as people has come to see it as business. 1. Solid minerals - Bandits 2. Rich Business men and business women flamboyant lifestyles - kidnapping 3. Crude oil- militants 4. NURTW- Agbero/ area boys 5. Politics of do or die - Massive corruption. As, the saying goes, solution to every problems is located in the problems itself. But in nigeria as long as Money is involved, no solution. Why is Lagos on the list if they are producing 0. 1 Like |

condensedmilk: Lies from the pit of hell, if Ondo State have large gas deposit why is Lagos building gas pipeline from the West to the East? The little oil Ondo State have is found is the land of indigenous Ijaw communities. No oil in Yoruba land. By the way FG already told you that South East is crucial to Nigeria's gas industry revolution. Imo state governor, Uzodimma confirmed that Imo state have the largest gas deposits in Nigeria. The same minister confirmed the 203 trillion cubic feet of gas was discovered while searching for crude oil, that if they decide to search for gas then they will find over 600 trillion cubic feet of gas. The South East you people keep calling barren land is actually the energy of Africa, we know Africa is the future. We won't allow you to take over our land. Nnamdi Kanu no come play, he came for peace but if you want pieces then the you will get it. Our gas will be used to develop Africans who believe in freedom, who want development, who want justice and fairness, level pray ground. We won't depend on selling it, we will use the energy to power the development of our country and neighboring countries for free. We will be a manufacturing country. That's what we will do, else nobody will be safe, only saints. 1 Like 1 Share

santaclaws:This is not just about oil producing communities. You cannot declare that the Apoi and Arogbo Ijaw in Ondo State are not natives of the State, same way you cannot claim that the Edo people who are indigenous to communities in Ọ̀sẹ́ LGA are not from Ondo State, just because you want to attach yourself to (their) crude oil. There are non-Yorubas who are indigenes of the states that currently make up the SW, just as there are Yorubas who are indigenes of states in the NC, Benin Republic, etc. Salaam! 2 Likes |

bobby007: Ondo might have more oil, but the East has the largest Gas deposits in the country with Imo State accounting for about 50% of this. Nigeria has the 8th largest Gas deposits in the world and with our oil expected to last for about 50 more years, unless new reserves are discovered, you can then guess where the future of the Nigerian economy lies. |
