In the past, FG pays Local marketers Association monies to reduce the fuel price, but now, the deal is between NNPCL and FG.

For example, government buys petrol at N1,200 and sells at N700 to the members of the public. The difference of N500 is what us now as subsidy. Whether you like it or not, you are paying subsidy. You don't have any understanding of the topic. Removing the subsidy paid to marketers has little bearing on why fuel is so expensive if the fuel is still being subsidized at source as we've been told. The issue is really that landing costs have gone up tremendously and that is a function of dollar costs. You may still say it is down to his policies but at least have some basic understanding.

Very soon, NNPCL will have other shareholders, all these is just a smoke screen. Why privatize key government institutions.
