To answer your question, I don't expect the police to announce every arrest made but let me tell you, in cases where there is heightened public interest occassioned by the sudden disappearanc of the guy in question, who is a known activist, investigative reporter and a frontline critic of this administration, his arrest had to be made public.

Why leaking classified information just to gain followers? Police didn't need to talk to public about his arrest because he is just like any other ordinary Nigerian arrested for one thing or the other. All these social media sympathy is the reason nigerians are backwards in reasoning. Why can't he go to sambisa to investigate bokoharam, bandits strategy and submit report to police for actions as he claim investigative journalist.
