Once upon a time, there was a young finance professional named Alex who had been searching for a new job for months.

Finally, after countless applications and interviews, Alex received two job offers on the same day.

Job Offer 1 was from a food manufacturing company in the city, offering a salary of 1.8m per annum. The role was challenging, but Alex was confident in their abilities and excited about the opportunity to work with a talented team.

Job Offer 2 was from a start-up bottling organization. The salary was higher 2.4m per annum but the work was meaningful, and Alex would have the opportunity to make a real difference in the community.

Alex was torn between choosing 1.8m per annum working Monday through Friday with a 20% increase after a year. On the other hand, bottling organization offered 2.4m per annum working Monday through Saturdays with lunch daily.

After much contemplation, Alex decided to trust his instincts and choose to ask NLers. Although, Alex is married with two kids.

In the end, Alex would spend N4,000 daily on transportation on offer B while he would spend N2000 daily on transportation for offer A.

For me based on my calculations I would opt for A
1. I hate working on Saturdays
2. The 20% increment will not be the only one
3. Transportation is an important factor too because distance matters
The list goes on...
