Tunji-ojo Enhances Border Management ,promotes Transparency In Ministry — BTO Ce by Ojimaojo11(m): 3:05pm On Aug 25 |
The Special Assistant to the Minister of Interior on Youth & Student Affairs and team lead at the BTO Center for Youth & Leadership Development, Ifon Daniel Samuel, has commended the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for improving border management and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability within the ministry. Daniel, who is a team lead at the BTO Center for Youth & Leadership Development, said Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, a distinguished leader, visionary, and an inspiration to many, exemplifies the kind of leadership that can drive our nation forward. Speaking at the BTO Youth Development Convention 1.0 to shape Nigeria’s Future in Akure yesterday, Daniel said that under Tunji-Ojo’s leadership, we have witnessed significant strides in enhancing internal security, improving border management, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability within the Ministry of Interior. He said, "These achievements are not merely administrative successes; they represent a vision of a Nigeria where every citizen feels safe, valued, and empowered to pursue their dreams." But perhaps the most important aspect of the Tunji-Ojo Model is its focus on youth empowerment. Dr. Tunji-Ojo recognizes that the youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are the leaders of today. He has tirelessly advocated for policies and initiatives that provide young people with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. "From education to entrepreneurship, from civic engagement to technological innovation, his efforts have been aimed at unlocking the potential of our young people, ensuring that they are equipped to lead Nigeria into a brighter future." "As we celebrate International Youth Day and the transformational impact of Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, let us remember that the work of building a prosperous nation is far from over. It is a continuous process that requires the active participation of everyone in this room and beyond. "The Tunji-Ojo Model teaches us that by working together—by embracing our diversity, by supporting one another, and by committing ourselves to the common good—we can achieve greatness." Speaking further, Daniel explained that Tunji-Ojo’s tenure as the Minister of Interior has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence, a commitment to public service, and a profound understanding of the power of collective action. His work has not only transformed the Ministry of Interior but has also set a new standard for governance in Nigeria. "Dr. Tunji-Ojo’s approach, which we now proudly refer to as the 'Tunji-Ojo Model,' is rooted in the belief that building a prosperous nation is a joint task. This model emphasizes collaboration, inclusivity, and empowerment." "It is about bringing everyone—regardless of age, background, or status—together to contribute to the nation’s growth. Dr. Tunji-Ojo understands that no single individual or institution can achieve national prosperity alone; it requires the collective effort of every citizen."
