Pls guys, help me out here. Is there any marked differences in the features/specifications  of Bold 2 and Bold 3.

There is a little,just the os.

both can run on os 6,just the sizes of the phone and nay be the ram

but does the 3G sign show on bold 3?

Bold3 has almost the same spec as bold4(higer than bold2),save for maybe, the camera.it works with CDMA networks as well GSM.

I've been wondering same for Touch 1 and 2 too o.
Pls can anybody help out with the difference?

They have confused me to the degree i don't know which one i'm using anymore

I have used bold 2, 3 and 4 and no significant difference at all. But on genreal terms, bold 2 is far better than bold 3, and bold 2 and 4 are practically the same, except for their menu.

Same here. I have used both, but yet to see difference except some technical jargons I read on the internet.
In fact sometimes I feel like going back to where I bought that 2, asking for refund of price differential 'because they have conned me and given me Touch 1 as Touch 2'

The difference is in the internal memory and battery capacity.
The bold 2(9700) has 256 mb of memory while bold 3 (9650) has 512mb of memory. Most of us like the efizzy and simplicity of the bb OS6.
If you are ok with OS5 on your bold 2 then its excellent  but if you must use OS6 then a bold 3 is better because it has double of the memory of bold 2.

I use a bold 2 with OS 6 and I want to dispose it already cos starts hanging when i visit nairaland and other sites and eventually closes the window saying it is too large to open, that won't happen with a bold 3 or bold which has a 512 mb of ram

The Bold 9650 is the CDMA version of the Bold 9700 built for the US market, just as the Storm 9530 is the CDMA version of the Storm 9500. Ditto with the Touch 9900 and 9930. The Bold 9700 (AKA Bold 2) is essentially identical to the 9650 (Bold 3) except for the internal memory.

Hi, I know you guys are BB Freaks. But i still hope to get a fair and objective judgement from you guys. In the light of all these craze about Blackberry, I want to know if a good Nokia phone cannot do some of the things that BB does. I don't want to go with the craze, and i just prefer to stick with my Nokia. Is it really a good decision, considering my internet/computer related job?

Please compare in terms of Functionality and Price.

Both BlackBerry Bold cell phones are equipped with the same features.The Blackberry Bold 3, however, is supported by a few more carriers than the Bold 2.
