As a soldier you can't just come out and make accusations against your superiors Seems to me that you didn't read what he said. shortgun: ↪ Stop blaming Nigerian soldiers because our job is based on orders. If the government gives us the order today to enter the bushes and forest to clear the terrorists and bandits, it won't take us a week to finish them all. Nigerian soldiers are better trained than terrorists and bandits, we have weapons than the bandits and kidnappers. The Nigerian leaders knows what they want to gain with the bandits, the government is making money from the crisis. If there's peace in Nigeria the leaders will not make the money they are making when there's unrest. This is the reason why terrorists and bandits have the confidence to post their exploits on every social media platforms across the country. He did not ay his superiors were responsible. DeLaRue: When a President puts a Southerner in charge of dealing with terrorists and bandits, Northern politicians oppose and do everything possible to destabilise that President, especially if the President is from the South. They did that to Mr Jonathan.
There was a Chief of Army Staff from the South East that did quite well against terrorists then. I can't remember his name. Certain elements from the North wanted him removed.
The current President wanted to avoid all that palaver by putting virtually all the key defence offices in Northern hands, yet no improvement.
NIA - Northerner NSA - Northerner Minister of Defense - Northerner Deputy Minister for Defense - Northerner Chief of Army Staff - Northerner DSS - Northerner, until he resigned a few days ago.
Not that I know whether the 'military personnel' quoted is fake or not.
However, it is just curious that all these years the entire security agencies still don't have basic technologies to trace and locate the trouble makers.

Were you people not in agreement with the north that ihejirika should be removed? Hypocrites! Seriously bro, Northern elders claimed that Ihejirika was killing Northerners to avenge the Igbo deaths from the Biafran war using the fight against terrorism as a cover. Ihejirika was close to wiping out Boko Haram in the North before he was removed. A visionary government would recall generals like Ihejirika and place them in charge of counter-terrorism operations with a defined tenured objective. 1 Like |

I feel sorry for Suleiman S. His video and outburst was probably made out frustrations about the banditry issues but I’m sure the Nigerian military would react very swiftly by inviting/arresting and interrogating him.
As much as I admire and respect his video, he is wrong in doing this. He hasn’t been very professional. I believe there are proper ways of channeling his frustrations. His boss or bosses won’t be too happy with this video. |

Nigeria is just too diverse ethnically and religiously for one man to lead there will always be mistrust and suspicion no matter how sincere the nigerian president is the only permanent solution to all this insecurity ravaging the whole nigeria still remains either an outright division of the country or a loose federation where all the major ethnic groups will have a reasonable control of their own security any other thing is just prosponing the inevitable evil day. |

You're deceiving yourself. List the security positions occupied by Yorubas.
The positions I listed in my previous comments are the most important in the country's security architecture.
Even if the Chief of Defense Staff is Yoruba, and I don't know if he is, he is not as central in the day to day strategic fight against insecurity as the Chief of Army Staff, NIA, and the NSA.
