That's true for any business. Do we go round asking who really owns this or that? What is provoking this person to ask about Dangote's refinery? In any case, the information is already in the public domain. Dangote Group is the owner and the NNPC holds 7%...so what's the point of this question especially when no one can unearth any so-called proxies?

I was just answering generally and not specifically.Your point that one can check CAC. It's not a good answer to any query which calls into question layers of ownership.

I have zero interest in the OPs issue.

exactly, because he will want to pay those that paved the way for him, and him to maintain his biz

Psst!!! Go back and read my previous post regarding Dangote Refinery. The short comings are as follows

1. The refinery was built in the wrong place. (It is not by coincidence that most refineries in the USA are built in Texas and California. It was because those are the states that produce most Crude oil) Dangote refinery should have been built in the East.
2. Reliable supply of electricity. (Any idea how much KWH it takes to run a refinery)
3. No in fracture in place to carry the finished product from the refinery to the end user

God bless you.

But there have been several similar topics on this matter recently on naiaraland, highlighting your points, I don't know why the OP and the mod are putting it up for us again.

It is a mischievous topic typical of the average Nigerian love of sensationalism.
The refinery ownership has never been a secret.

The OP even claimed that imaginary analysts "have raised questions as to why dangote Refinery hasn't started producing petroleum products"
when we all know that statement is false.
Dangote has been roducing other fuels apart from PMS.

The mod loves it because it will generate many conspiracy responses.

Before now, when there was no refinery, they said petrol price should go up because there was no refinery to refine the crude here and we should import petrol.

Now, there is refinery but the same people say there is no crude to refine at the new refinery. So the price of petrol would go higher because we have to import crude to refine.

Stuupiid set of people!
mark my words 4years or less nothing good will ever come out of tinubu regime. It is sept already get ready for another 2months postponement
