It is very saddening to see how various Posts and multiple News about the Canadian Igbo woman who threatened Yorubas and Benin People have been created, posted, re-posted and spread all over NairaLand. My question is that why is it that some are so quick to Post, Post and Repost any News whenever it's about someone who is of Igbo origin that did something which seems to portrays Igbo People in bad light, yet same don't Post/Share any good News/Deeds done by Igbo Person or Persons. So many Igbos are out there Saying and Doing awesome Humanistic Selfless things for Hausa-Fulanis, Yorubas and other Tribes but it never trends on NairaLand.

We sincerely need to make consciously Efforts to wipe our Hearts of bitter antagonism against Igbos because the Truth is that who GOD ALMIGHTY has Blessed, no Man or Tribe can ever curse. I personally was one of those so foolishly and myopically neck-deep into saying and spreading bad things about Igbos. But the Time for deep reflection came when I realized my foolishness and ungratefulness because I'm a Yoruba Multimillionaire today because of the Support, Kindness and Help from my kindhearted hardworking Igbo Friends. Scripture says "You can Not do anything against the Truth but for the Truth"
Truth be told, Igbos are the most Blessed Black African Tribe on Earth, and no one can take that from them. Yes, they are not Perfect and no Tribe on Earth could ever claim to be Perfect.

It is in the Light of the above that I want to advise those that still love peddling bad News about Igbos to please stop. As for me, I now forever Stand for the Truth: I will always share only Positive Vibes and Good News about Igbos, and all other Tribes too. The World is bad enough already, why should we allow Satan to be using us for Destroying the Hope of Humanity ever becoming Sensible?! Instead of being foolishly envious of other's Tribes and festering Human inhumanity against Humans, let's refocus on Celebrating Humaneness in other Tribes. Let's be slow to condemn but quick to genuinely Love and Appreciate our different Areas of Strength.

Like many good News about Igbos that recently Trended on all other Social Media without trending on NairaLand, the News about this Igbo Man that saved a neglected Hausa-Fulani Woman right in the middle of Katsina Market shows that most Igbos are genuinely kindhearted:

My brother, it is very saddening indeed. But with this Kind of Positive Vibes Posts that I and others would start Posting from now onwards, it's only a matter of time, the mindset of Nigerians would become more better and genuinely Progressive.

Nice one. Such selflessness. I hate it when people generalise that a whole people are evil because of bad eggs.
PS: There are good people everywhere

Yes.
IgboYorubaFulan: Exactly! Mods, Dominique, Lalasticlala, Seun. This should be quickly move to FP, these are the kind of Nigerian-uniting Posts that this noble Forum should daily have.
God bless this OP tremendously. It is time for Nigerians to become wise and truly unite as a Nigerian-loving People. We blame our Leaders when the Leaders actually emerge from among we the People.
No Tribe is bad or wicked, even the Fulanis that were being castigated for popularizing killings only need to be understood. If all the major Tribes sincerely sit at Round Table to discuss, we can all share and enjoy what God has blessed Nigeria with without any form of enemity. It has been Historically proven that the Colonial Masters are still the unseen hidden hands orchestrating Nigerian tribes against one another, manipulating Nigerian Youths to hate Farming which is the most natural Edge that Nigeria has to Prosper with. The day we focus on loving one another as true brothers and finding amicable Solutions to challenges is the days that the external forces that sell guns to Nigeria/Nigerians would cry forever!

Nice one. Though this happens everyday but, unfortunately, the idiotics are loudest people everywhere now.

Idiots don't have commonsense to understand that ascribing any tribe to evil is simplistic and illogical because idiots don't allow themselves to think.

And I think those who own forums like these one have a responsibility to do something. What's Seun's legacy?

He allows tribalists, stupid people, children and adult with poorly formed brains, clowns, witches and those who worship evil to exist here. That's Seun's legacy as it stands. But I'm sure he doesn't care.

cheesy My beloved brother, Sail has become Paul! Choice to become better Humanbeing in Life is personal, some might have chosen to be forever foolish and needlessly bitter but not me. How can I continue to be ungrateful?! How can I continue to post bad things about the very People that have never ceased to be Source of great Blessing to my Life and Family?! I've vowed to forever let the World know that Igbos are far better than what our Minds was poisoned to think and say about them in the past. No more darkness, many of my fellow Yorubas shall see the Light of the Land of the Rising Sun through me henceforth and forever.

if only we have been like this, coupled with our huge human potentials as Nigerians, we would av gone so far in development.

But sadly, religion and tribalism has and will remain the yoke that keeps us from moving forward as a nation.

May God continue to forgive our shortcomings.

Very good point. The Sun, Moon and Stars don't fight one another but they Complement one another, this is the Wisdom that Satan has blinded many Humans from emulating. The most important thing is that when the Time comes for shackles of mind to be broken, one should not be ashamed or allow Pride to prevent from sharing the testimony. I have chosen to focus my Life on helping to open the eyes of others to the Truth that there is no need to hate those that GOD ALMIGHTY has Bless.

Just because of a random act by one Igbo person

Does that mean we can use Amaka's case to also conclude on what an average Igbo person thinks about the rest?

There are good people and there are bad people...this has nothing to do with Igbos as a group

As Christians, we are commanded to Love one another as we love ourselves.

Anyone engaging in tribalism or racism has no place on God's Kingdom.

The good deeds of Igbo people would always be celebrated by us.

However, the bad deeds would also be pointed out without mincing words.
