Max24: This shit is coming from an irredeemable zombie, is Otti owing any worker? He inherited the debt from Ikpeazu and he even promised to clear the debt, what Okezie couldn't clear in 8yrs is what this Zombie wants Otti to clear in 1.3yrs whilst still paying the salaries to workers, you made mention of Tinubu not blaming Buhari, but his aides are blaming Buhari while Tinubu himself continues the borrowing spree, at least Otti is not adding to Abia state debts for now, neither is owing salaries for jobs done under his administration and Abia state is a lot better now under Otti than it was under the previous administration, but that can't be said with Tinubu's administration, Nigeria is worse under Tinubu. Yes government is continuum, so far he promised to offset the debts owed by the previous administration and also willing to keep the promise, then you APC zombies don't have anything on him. 3 Likes |

Thieves, they should go meet your predecessor for salaries owed but the money left in the state coffers by the predecessor is meant for you to spend. Foolish politicians everywhere. 3 Likes |

Just see the hypocrisy in the comments above. One beautiful I have seen with the masses is, they are so hypocritical and by extension enjoy their chains. Once my preferred candidate is in charge, I support but if that same thing was done by the candidate I dislike, I criticize. It's just well with Nigerians. Ire ooooooo 2 Likes |

Shame on Alex Otti if truly this statement came from him.. why did he pick up form to contest for Abia State Governor when he knew he wasn't going to pay salary arrears owed Abia State workers? These are the people that will.flock Lagos and be chasing after Sanwo Olu that they want to end bad governance. This one Otti is doing in Abia, is it good governance?.. make we see una papa dey protest for Lagos again. Eyin ashiere |

Thank you Dr Alex Otti, Just making out this time monthly to do a press conference for the people of Abia State is good. It shows the people how much you care about them. For people that are speaking without reading or listening to the media briefing go ahead. Na you get your mouth. |

Hahahaha, this is Abia state and not Anambra state. I love the fact that you acknowledged that you are not from Abia state. I'm from Abia state and I am happy with the performance of the current governor because my state has been in total boundage for the past 18 years. The rot the past governors left behind for the present government will take years to remedy owing to the scarcity of funds and the hyperinflation in Nigeria currently. Can the governor perform better than he is doing currently, the answer is yes. But at least he needs to be commended for the good works he is doing in the state. ednut1: |

Obingo and his deluded obirodent miscreants should have given Otti the magic wand they possess in governance. Obingo that ruined and ran Anambra State aground for 8years. |

Oti is changing narrative of governance in abịa State Every right thinking abian should praise him for turning moribund state to life. Workers are being manipulated by those that owed them these salaries to revoke the gov s plan in paying these arrears in piece meals |

Is it that the Governor does not know that government is a continuum or what? I am not surprised, Arse lickers that would have cried themselves to the grave if were to be another state have suddenly boycotted this thread. Page 2 since morning. We are waiting for you. |
Re: Past Administrations Who Owe Salaries Should Be Held Responsible Not Me — Otti by ppogba: 6:31pm On Sep 08 |
galantjoe: He is indeed changing the narratives. He is changing it from the reality that as an office holder, you inherit both the assets and liabilities. He is changing it from the reality that as a Governor, you can claim ignorance of what is being owed your state workers even after almost two years in office. He is changing it from the reality that each office comes with responsibility but buck passing earns you accolades. He is changing it from the reality that criticism is only for your political opponents as long as hypocrites like some of you on Nairaland can always hail his gross incompetence to the high heavens. |

Obidient best governor on the MIC again. I know they will all support these nonsense talk. So he is saying no continuity in government or Does is mean he only wants to accept the assets and not the liabilities. |
Re: Past Administrations Who Owe Salaries Should Be Held Responsible Not Me — Otti by ppogba: 6:39pm On Sep 08 |
Lyon49m: A Governor that has taken it upon himself to remind workers that their legitimate income of 33- 36 months unpaid and with no plan to pay cares about them? Monthly press conference to show gross irresponsibility is now a new definition of care? No wonder. Julius Berger logo is enough for a photoshoot. |
Re: Past Administrations Who Owe Salaries Should Be Held Responsible Not Me — Otti by ppogba: 6:45pm On Sep 08 |
gabbytabby: You can be in charge of the workers as far as they are from Abia state . You can be in charge of the workers as long as you can hold a press conference and tell them that the monies were owed by your precedessors. You can be in charge of the workers as long as you have hypocrites and idiots on Nairaland who are ready to defend and justify your actions. You can be in charge of the workers as long as you have people more concerned about the tiny particles of wood in other's eyes rather than the log in their own. |
