White elephant project. This is not the need of Anambra state. This is supposed to be private sector driven. Government has no basis to be engaging in building hotels or recreation center. Is thriving landmark owned by govenrment? Some things are better left for private sector

Anambra's single lane and dilapidated, narrow roads need to be dualised. Tiny one lane roads yappa for Anambra state. And they're not even tidy .

😄😄 Gov Soludo is Constructing many projects across Anambra state, dualising many roads, flyovers, hospitals, reviving all the water schemes in Anambra state, declared free education, free antenatal care and child delivery, employed 8350 teachers and 3500 medical personnel across state institutions in the state

Your stupidity end on social media, Infrastructure going on in Anambra is beyond match by any governor currently and he is doing all these without borrowing 😄 Most of the projects are: Fun City Awka, Ten Storey Five Star Hotel, Solution Innovation District Awka our Silicon Valley, Five hospitals, Two flyovers, New government house and lodge, Obosi Drug Distribution Hub, Mixed Use industrial park at Orumba, road construction across the state including dualisation of many roads, he is doing all these without borrowing.

With that is on ground right now, I can even rate Soludo as the best Governor of Anambra because he is giving Anambra an infrastructural uplift at a time the cost of construction is ten times the cost it was during the era of past Governors and he is doing this with minimal borrowing. He is not only after infrastructure but he is also after Human capital Development.
I believe he will also tackle security to brearest level.
Ndi Anambra the time to come Home is now.

I guess you don't know the bitter frustrated soul 😄 while he is nursing jealous and bitterness we are matching forward ⏩ ⏩ he was the one that was ranting then when Dave Umahi was nominated as minister of works, he vow to commit suicide if Dave execute any project in Anambra, Anambra state today is construction site without FG, and we are yet to borrow while nothing is going on in that Dumbo's home state

The problem with Nigeria politicians are not the politicians themselves but praise singers like you who they surround themselves with.

What is wrong with what they asked? Can you fault their argument? What business does the government have with building hotels? Why not use the money to build the important infrastructure like power, roads and stuff

You're absolutely right on this one, even though you write like an irritant on steroids 99% of the time.
Soludo blasted Obi for the brewery, but is now building this, when many areas need attention. The roads need to be modernised and dualized. Not just Anambra, but the whole south east and Nigeria. Awka needs more planning too

Bros, travel! Thats all i have to say. I'm not saying this to insult, just to broaden your horizon. Travel around Asia for instance. Lets leave Europe and America for now. Asia was like Africa few years ago, so we can easily use them as examples. Have you seen almost 8 lanes each side? Thats how China builds their roads. Igboland is a densely populated per square mile like China. So they need bigger roads and more skyscrapers.

Travel, bros. Thats when you get to see that what we have here, is a colony of small thinkers as leaders. What he said about tiny roads in the south-east is very true. Anambra has a relatively good road network, but the designs of these roads are so tacky and simple. Have you been around that Awka Etiti, Neni, Adazi side during any festive season? The hold-up in those areas can match the ones in Lagos during rush hours.

It's not a white elephant project because Soludo will complete it and put it in full use.

I have warned you several times, Anambra is not your typical Nigerian state filled with people with misplaced priorities. We know what project we need to execute and its viability. Go back to your Ebonyi and tell your government to turn that useless airport Umahi wasted billions to build into a car park because no airplane is landing there soon.

For the first time, I agree with you. Alternatively, the state government can get a private investor to manage it....like a PPP arrangement. If not, that project will die the moment Soludo leaves office.

Stop using a word you don't know its meaning and start learning to take constructive criticism. That's the first sign of maturity.

BTW, how are you any different from BATerians who tag people haters of Nigeria for criticising the silly policies of this incompetent government?

If you don't want to be criticised, stop sharing news here.

The project will be completed soon and be handed over to private to manage just like Anambra airport, Agulu Lake hotel, Onitsha Mall

Port Harcourt Park was built by Rivers state government, same with the one in Cross River so what's wrong with Anambra state building their own? But if it's your state governor nothing wrong right?

What Soludo is building is far bigger that normal park, remember we have Awka Wonderland Park own by private, the state governor is building Fun city that will accommodate many facilities including amusement Park at heart of the city well strategically located in Awka

White Elephant Project : a project or investment that is expensive but doesn't provide any useful purpose or return on investment.

Do you know the number of Ndi Anambra that had to do with traveling to Asaba just to experience a little fun time on a park like this. Anambra people are very wealthy and this park will soon exceed its capacity when completed. Our airport is already one of the busiest local airport in Nigeria. Anambra will not only recover her investment but will turn the Fun city into revenue spinning machine.

Don't play with the light of the nation!
