In a strategic move to uplift the livelihood and welfare of Nigerian women and children, the Honorable Minister of Women Affairs, Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Lagos State, H.E. Babajide Sanwo-Olu at Marina House, Lagos state

During the visit, Barr. Ohanenye commended Governor Sanwo-Olu for his unwavering support for women's empowerment in Lagos State. She highlighted his gender-friendly policies, infrastructure, and programs as crucial factors in the state's and nation's development.

To further strengthen her commitment to women's socio-economic empowerment, the Minister announced the distribution of over 357 sustainable empowerment machines across 15 states, including the Federal Capital Territory. Recognizing Lagos State as Nigeria's economic hub and most populous region, with a significant number of industrious women, the Ministry prioritized its inclusion among the first 15 states to receive these machines.

Among the machines distributed to Lagos State were 24 industrial economic machines for food production, specifically Garri processing and cassava processing machines. These machines, when combined, form a complete six-component system, including cassava heavy grinding machines, cassava industrial sieving machines, Garri sieving and drying machines, and Garri industrial frying machines.

Barr. Ohanenye also sought a partnership with the Lagos State government to support women and children in areas such as justice (mobile courts), agriculture (livestock and farming), health, and education.

In response, Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his gratitude for the Minister's visit and her commitment to improving the lives of women and children in the state. He pledged his unwavering support and a strong partnership with the Ministry of Women Affairs to achieve its set goals.

The meeting was attended by notable dignitaries, including the First Lady, Dr. Mrs. Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat, and the State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Mrs. Cecilia Bolaji Dada.

All the ashobi party ministries which government use to steals our wealths in the name of giving palatives to the grassroots but everything goes directly to their pocket.
Madam minister, I'm not impressed with the levels in which your guys steal this nation to the ground, God will answer and punished you all someday. Go and work normal or open business and leave blood money alone, the blood of every Nigerians who your greed and selfishness lead to early deaths is on your head and others politicians.

A rich farmer was giving millions of naira n tractors to empower his people in his large community (I don't want to mention his name n community) he diverted it to his 20herctre of farm becoming d richest farmers in d state
Sometimes our government are trying but greedy middle men

No lies some ministry just spend money without remitting back to the government such is all this women affairs and poverty alleviation scheme. They are lot of black activities going on in this ministry all in the name of empowerment scheme
