Sentences can be passed with different constructions. Many people wrote the Bible so it's normal if they have different use of sentences but kept narrating same story. A nice example is gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John or Chromicles and Kings. All books wrote about similar characters. That's the thing mumu islamists like you failed to grasp. You especially v misquoted, misinterpreted the Bible secerally. Whoever is doing you from ya village to give you poor brain has done a good job. Go for medulla upgrade.

Ya mofo imams are littering internet spewing jargons and dishing misinformation about Allah's people all cos of jealousy. Una go pick a flimsy reason like biblical interpretation and lampoon it as if all of you no go school.
Since it has been established that all ya rants and blasphemy about Christianity is based on jealousy, you ll be ignored till you meet ya 72 virgins.

Salam @antichristian,

I’d like to ask a question about something that gets me thinking quite a lot.

Some of the Christian folks will pray for a person and they get some sort of revelation/inspiration about the present and past happenings of the individual and they are also able to tell the individual what to do and what not to do so as to get their prayers answered by the Almighty.

My question is that: where do these Christian folks get this revelation/inspiration from ? And do we have this kind of revelation/inspiration in Islam also ?

Thank you

Good question!
Firstly, fortune telling is not only common among some Christians but also some so-called Babalawo Muslims. Fortune telling is actually the deed of a disbeliever in Allah! Anyone who does it is a disbeliever in Islam.

Secondly to answer your question. Some people asked the Prophet (salallahu alayhi wasalam) a similar question:
Al-Bukhaari (6213) and Muslim (2228) narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: Some people asked the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about soothsayers. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to them: “They are nothing.” They said: O Messenger of Allaah, sometimes they tell us something that turns out to be true. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “That is a word from the jinn that the jinni snatches, and he cackles it into the ear of his familiar as a hen cackles, but they mix more than a hundred lies with it.”

Al-Bukhaari (4701) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When Allaah decrees a matter in heaven, the angels beat their wings in submission to His words, making a sound like a chain striking a rock. When the fear is banished from their hearts, they say, What is it that your Lord has said? They say: The truth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great. Then the one who is listening out hears that, and those who are listening out are standing one above the other” – Sufyaan [one of the narrators] demonstrated with his hand, holding it vertically with the fingers outspread. – “So he hears what is said and passes it on to the one below him, and that one passes it to the one who is below him, and so on until it reaches the lips of the soothsayer or fortune-teller. Maybe the meteor will hit him before he can pass anything on, or maybe he will pass it on before he is hit. He tells a hundred lies alongside it, but it will be said, Did he not tell us that on such and such a day, such and such would happen? So they believe him because of the one thing which was heard from heaven.” i.e., he is believed because of the one true word that was heard from heaven and passed on to the fortune teller.

So in summary, there's actually no prayer but a contact with the "Jinn" they already have contract with to fulfil their own end of the contract! And Allah has promised Shaytan He will grant him respite till the day of resurrection! Shaytan too is from the Jinn kind! So the soothsayer received information from the Jinn mixed with a lot of falsehood and passes it to the client!

We don't have such in Islam as only Allah know the unseen!
Claiming to know the unseen or believing someone who makes such claim is Kufr (disbelief) in Islam.
Muslims are only advised to do Istikhara for guidance on anything they want to do!
Allah will make it smooth for them if such will be beneficial in this world and in the next!

And lastly, as you know, there's no one Jesus or any of his disciples prayed for to see their past/future on their request like they do! So it is not even established in their so-called book! It is the same thing some Muslims do using Rosary beads, Sand on a tray or even Qur'an or other items! Prophet Muhammad does not know the future except what was revealed of it to him! And he doesn't know it until it was revealed!

Same as Jesus and every other Prophets that got revelation!

The natural way Allah created us is for us humans to relate with one another and Jinns to relate with themselves! That's why ordinarily we can't see them! However, Allah has granted a few Selected among His slaves to be able to communicate with them and order them. Such example is Prophet Sulaiman.

Often many people relate with the Jinn by directing some form of worship to them or giving them something in exchange for their services!

Allah says (interpretation of the meanings):
“And on the Day when He will gather them (all) together (and say): ‘O you assembly of jinn! Many did you mislead of men,’ and their awliya (friends and helpers) amongst men will say: ‘Our Lord! We benefited one from the other, but now we have reached our appointed term which You did appoint for us.’ He will say: ‘The Fire be your dwelling place, you will dwell therein forever, except as Allah may will. Certainly your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing.’ And thus We do make the Zaalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) awliya (supporters and helpers) of one another (in committing crimes), because of that which they used to earn.” [Qur'an 6:128]

“And verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the males among the jinn, but they (jinn) increased them (mankind) in sin and transgression.” [Qur'an 72:6]

Jinns are powerful creations of Allah and they are like us having Muslims, disbelievers, wicked ones, strict ones, etc.
And it's better one does not pass his boundary!

And lastly, i have never heard of the Prophet (salallahu alayhi wasalam) nor his companions having the need for a Jinn friend!
Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Qur'an 3:31)

When we say Jesus is a Messenger of Allah then that means Allah sent revelations to him!

Same as Moses, Noah and Muhammad!

They are Prophets and Messengers because of their revelations!

The context you are responding to is that of the soothsayer/fortuneteller which is not the same as revelation!

Go back and read what brought it up! What you said about Yahweh and David made me to ask you that's question.

So your allah is very good at telling Muhammad to commit atrocities, is it proper with a sane mind to marry his adopted son's wife or didn't you realize the consequences of such devilish act carried out by your prophet
