DON'T MIND THEM.

It is the colonial inferiority complex that is still troubling them.

When they wake up, they will collaborate with traditional practitioners and herbalists to manufacture home grown medicines.

Useless people.

Go to China. They use home grown CHINESE MEDICINE to cure most illnesses there.

What is the difference between Chinese medicine and African medicine?

NOTHING.

It was ancient Africans who first settled in China thousands of years ago, and built empires there.

So what they are doing in China by way of medicine is what they inherited from our ancestors.

Even acupuncture. They do it in traditional Yoruba medicine.

WE taught them those things.

Now these lazy ones brainwashed by Britain to shun and disregard their heritage are here looking for dollars to import medicines from America and London.

USELESS THINGS.

Both you guys are mentally disorder those countries you mention who provide the enabling environment for them? You ba? So you that you are complaining, why can't you build one pharmaceutical company since you think it is very easy to setup production company in Nigeria

The abgado that is produced in Nigeria, how cheap is it?

The cost of drugs is on the high side because pharmacist refuse to produce drug locally with locally available raw materials.

Most of the drug in Nigeria are of low quality as ll from China and India.

Currency devaluation objective is to reduce and divert economy from import to export.

Complaining about machines, power still boil down to the fact that Nigerian professional are lazy and shameless.

These are same people shouting production ooo, but they are the inporter of FAKE and substandard product. Yes very profitable

China and India where we import everything from now started from somewhere. They endured pain loss of profits and even resources.

When you import, you are depriving govt of tax, unemployment increased and infrastructural development is slowed

You guys just open your big mouths on social media. Do you think production is as easy as eating moi-moi. Ordinary syringe factory Osinbajo and co. opened the other day had folded up.

Do you know what it costs to import all the machineries, power those machinery, transport them, pay import levies, pay staffs, pay regulators, import mould for plastics, pay state dues, signage, deal with unscrupulous marketers and suppliers?

Did government give them money to start production? The same government that will come for taxes immediately you put up a signboard?

It is more profitable to just import the finished goods and sell at a lower overhead cost.

Go figure

Nigerians Una never seen anything yet. E ti ri nkan nkan..

Leave am. When you invest ordinary 50k in a business and it flashes in front of you, you will tell ne how you want to risk 50M like that

Sure you reasoned well?
When the ones we have are folding up?
Six pharmaceutical firms have folded up in Nigeria between 2023 to 2024, and all these current ones you hear their name still in production are complaining of one thing or the other; one of them retrenched many workers in June. If you're an investor, won't you look first, before you leap?
Make Una no carry economics textbook and economic theories enter Nigeria because Nigeria is bedeviled with lots of confusing, corrupt and upside down peculiarities!!

Let me give you an example:
Nigeria eagerly needs exports and dollar inflows that will balance the imports to some certain extent; my brother that went to export bags of bitter kola paid fees (official and unofficial) amounting up to 3/4 of the price of bitter kola at the international market, with all the bottlenecks and bureaucracies, and by the time he adds shipping, nothing is left not to talk of profits!
Are you expecting him to continue tomorrow?
Why will he pay fees to the tune of the market price of his product, where are you expecting him to sell??
Apart from the fees, what about all the bureaucratic bottlenecks?
Why will an import dependent country frustrate exports? (Check your economics textbooks and economic theories and tell me an import dependent country that won't embrace exports to balance up).
Nigeria's peculiarity is an economic outlier and that of a dooming nation.
I have several real examples of my illustration above due to be released when the investigations are over! And these things are because of wrong govt policies and multi-sectorial corruption at all levels!!

I am not an investigative journalist but I work with one!!
