Growing up in the late eighties and early nineties wasn't boring even though there were no social media and plenty of websites 😕

What was the norms of those days?

I know you'd say those are the archaic era but you could be wrong. Technology advancement in this age does not make the past obsolete and irrelevant.

The growth came in time memorial and were enjoying it.

But come to think of it ...🤔

How do people of those days have fun and enjoy themselves, I mean how do they relate and communicate without the Internet and social media⁉️

There was computer during the eighties. I could remember my father enrolling myself and brother in a computer class around 1999. Computer have been in existence but Internet was a thing of cable wires and just like cable nitel landlines telephone which myself and sibilings use to call our parents at office back then in 1992/1993.
Whenever our parents are out for work hours myself and sibilings took turn to call each other using either the telephone in the sitting room or parent bedroom to call each other. In weekend neighbours visit our home to receive relative calls from U.S or U.K and Germany back then in 1994.
Father got a sliding colored Panasonic T.V with Panasonic VHS cassette player and a Daewoo player. We had couple of hundreds of VHS movie cassette. 🎬
Between my father bought a Nintendo 64bit gane around 1996/97 for the family and we have our peers coming to our place to watch while we give them the first class beating in street fight video games.
So the world as you can see keep elvolving, just as the WW1, WW2, and eventually we are experience WW3 which is to nuke the world 🌎

Yeah obviously! Back then we were not into the league of who had smashed the hottest shanty cos we don't have the mindset rather we were more engage in activities that propel us on how to work hard and make ends meet. Educating because when you heard that your Co peer is now in Jss1 and you were still battling with entrance exam robs u off the playgroup activities but once you get the job done then all back to square one of all manner of fun.
Kids today is not opportune to encounter such rather they beckon on gadgets and lifestyle that open them into ill decisions in life.
Most of the older generation flaunting luxury on social media other than family reunion et el propel the nuisance in the present generation of young chaps.
