Sowore: Immigration seized my passport, detained me at Lagos airport

Omoyele Sowore, convener of #RevolutionNow protest, says he was detained by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, upon his arrival from the United States.

His website, Sahara Reporters, previously reported that he was detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) — a report many media outlets, including TheCable, picked up.

The Take-It-Back Movement — also convened by Sowore — is currently planning another protest billed for October 1.

In a post via his social media page, Sowore said his passport was also seized by the NIS.

“I had just arrived in Nigeria from the USA to the MMIA in Lagos; upon reaching Nigerian Immigration, my passport was seized, and they told me they had orders to detain me,” he wrote.

“This is not un expected because I have always known that It is part of the broader clampdown by the fascist Bola Ahmed Tinubu regime on dissent and their fear of the upcoming #FearlessINOctober revolt.

“In case this becomes another prolonged and protracted detention, I urge our citizens to ensure they ALL stop tyranny by all means acceptable and necessary, by engaging in the planned series of direct actions slated for October 1st and beyond.”,” he wrote.

Who cares . That politician forming activist. Or are my wrong in my assessment. He can make good use of the court system if he feels his arrest his illegal. Please stop speaking for tĥs people or protesting for this kinds of people.

I remember how we protested for Naira marley but look at the end result. Please don't glorify criminality of any kind. If someone hass a case to answer the constitution provides for that person to get a lawyer to defend him in court. And that's the way to go.
What if the DSS are just doing the right thing, how do we know

It's a shame.

DSS arrested a known terror leader (classified) , kept him behind bars and marked him for execution we were all happy the dudes supposed to be taken off the surface of the earth but guess what ?

He surfaced and is causing more havoc than before DSS supposedly took him out. if you go to DSS to ask about him they will tell you he has been killed . This dude started killing and beheading people all over again and I sent an SOS to a source this dude was shocked to hear this guy is still walking the surface of the earth and told us the guy was marked for execution and that's what they all heard he was literally mad knowing all these,

If you understood Nigeria you are not normal aswear , this country is nauseating to say the least .

They declared him enemy of the state for saying no to bad govt.
Anyone that dares to ask the govt to make things easier for the masses today risk an arrest.
Saying that things are difficult in today's Nigeria is the real crime not terrorism that only affects the poor.

The problem in Nigeria is that the people are not ready to take back their country. My question is can Nigerians fast like real fasting for a month .....you eat only in the morning or night.

1. All civil servants should stop work and seat at home. Ie Nepa, airport, teachers, government workers in Nass and beyond, literally everyone who works for govt

2.All traders in every part of the country international and local

3. All military and Para military, medical doctors etc

4. All farmers and ngo should stop work

5. All citizens should seat at home

Now allow these politicians to do all the work ....they should send their children to work in the ministries, when they want to travel they should fly the plane

Cripple the economy .......you would see that all these reach people who have stakes in government would start fighting govt

Imagine you buying 1m liters of petrol and you can't sell it you would be forced to fight govt

We have to be united, Igbo , Yoruba, Hausa and all other tribes come together as one ......then my country Nigeria will start working.


2nd Option ......is for the right people to get into the senate so that they can limit the power the executive has

These sets of senators are the one s killing this country

It's time to take them out and seize the ovt by its balls

The new DSS boss is the most stupidd boss of any security agency. Just arresting people anyhow without evidence! Tinubu is along in line to be the most useless president of any country since the world began.
