I asked ChatGpt to simplify my earlier contribution and it outputted the following:

The author is expressing skepticism about Nigeria's traditional focus on Africa as a central component of its international policy. They believe that Nigeria should not view Africa as its sphere of influence for two key reasons:

1. Africa's resistance and jealousy:
The author suggests that other African countries are resistant to Nigeria's leadership or influence, driven by feelings of jealousy, making them reluctant to support or cooperate with Nigeria's efforts.

2. Africa's undeserving nature:
The author believes that Africa as a whole does not deserve Nigeria's efforts, likely because of the continent's internal issues or lack of reciprocity in its relationship with Nigeria.

The author argues that Nigeria should focus its resources (energy, capability, and finances) on its own development rather than on trying to influence Africa. However, they express doubt that Nigeria will do this, for two reasons:

Nigeria's leadership:
The author suspects that some of Nigeria's political leaders may not be fully Nigerian, implying that this might explain why the country continues to prioritize Africa over its own needs.

In summary, the author is questioning the value of Nigeria's foreign policy emphasis on Africa and calling for a more inward-looking, Nigeria-first approach.

Why is Nigeria so blasé to either Cameroon opening her Dam or and the devastating affects on Nigerians by the resultant deluge ?

In relation to my thoughts above, this is as if a Dam in Asaba Delta state is yearly depressurised resulting in devastation to vast areas of Warri. We can be none serious because we are one country. This is our approach to Cameroon, Niger Republic, cross border migration, terrorism and so on. We are not Nigeria but Africa while everyone else are Kenyans, South Africans and so on.

After a video I saw in which Ivory Coast people filled a part of Lagos even to the extent of trading with their foreign currency, someone pointed out another video that they watched, two days ago, were an Ireland off Lagos was occupied by Ghanians, they traded in thire own cedi currency and even had thire flag hoisted there undecided

If you ask, what's the way forward? "LETS FORM A COMMITTEE" will be their answer.

RUBBISH! Africa can never be a global powerhouse considering our current romance with western imperialist

I agree.

A slave can never be free untill he leaves the cage of his master.

Africa is economically, politically and socially enslaved.

Nothing good will happen here till we pull down all western institutions, systems, and influences while rebuilding ours to fit with our heritage, systems and peculiar challenges.
