Great2017: Were you in Edo state then? All the good things that's already going bad now was built by him. Why did you think it was easy for Obaseki to be elected? 🙄 You think he was popular? No! Let see him do his miracle of LET THERE BE LIGHT TOMORROW. LIGHT BRINGER😂😂😂 |

zombieHUNTER: You are wrong and on the side of telling wrong history. The last of Free and Fair Elections is in 1993- June 12, elections, when the World was present in Nigeria but the elections was brutally Annulled by the Military Junta- Babangida Regime,so be guided. |

sparko1: I have only only two questions for you. How old were you in the second republic? What was Oshiomole's networth prior to becoming the governor of Edo ? Edo State actually made Oshiomhole. |

Re: Edo Election: Let The People’s Will Prevail - Punch Editorial by sparko1(m): 5:09pm On Sep 20, 2024 |
Great2017: First question is inconsequential, not answering that. Firstly, he was the president of Nigeria Labour Congress, not sure his exact networth. Secondly, there is no governor that serve for even 4 years that is not rich. Even a councillor maybe never be poor again after spending 2 years in office. PO just gave the victims of flood 50m naira after leaving office for close to 14 years. The point is, let's feel your presence, look at auchi road, look and everything, Edo is worse off than it was 8 years ago. Tell me, what did he spend the money in Edo for in the 8 years he was governor, we have seen this before with Igbinedion, after everything, efcc will tell him to refund 10 billion naira and he will go somewhere in UK and enjoy his wealth, even open company and return in 8 years to contest for presidency. 🙄🙄 |

sparko1: I responded to you calling Oshiomhole the light of Edo State. Why are you deflecting the argument with Obaseki? You are suppose to support your claim with outstanding and rare achievements that made Oshiomhole the light of our State. Ambrose Alli was a governor of my State. He had no house to his name, yet, he built Ambrose Alli University from scratch. Edo people are gainfully employed in their numbers without Ambrose benefiting a dime. Ogbemudia was also a governor of my State and gave Edo the few things we can boast of including the great UNIBEN. What did Oshiomhole give Edo that made him the light among these great sons of my State? I was really ashamed of you justifying stealing and corruption. Oshiomhole was not rich prior to becoming a governor. He has suddenly amassed wealth from corruption and you call this light because of the repairs of some roads and schools. If I may ask, what is really the job of our governors? The question you felt was irrelevant was actually the most important. I will advise you to visit your history books before you spew another rubbish. |

Great2017: What party is Ambrose Ali again? You stated that APC is darkness while others are semi darkness, so let's compare your semi darkness with darkness, then you can intimate us with the Light part since you are the expert. |

sparko1: I don't jump from one argument to another. It shows shallowness. Having said this, I will keep refuting and debunking any propaganda of yours trying to paint Oshiomhole Edo messiah. |
Re: Edo Election: Let The People’s Will Prevail - Punch Editorial by sparko1(m): 10:21pm On Sep 20, 2024 |
Great2017: Okay, let's paint everyone then, We have Igbinedion, Oshiomhole, Obaseki, paint them. 🙄🙄🙄 Or better still choose your preferred messiah 🙄 |

sparko1:Where great Edo people like Prof Ambrose Alli and Brig Gen Dr Osaigbovo Ogbemudia both of blessed memory and Sam Mbakwe are mentioned, Oshiomhole cannot be mentioned. Oshiomhole left an unprecedented debt for Edo people. |
Re: Edo Election: Let The People’s Will Prevail - Punch Editorial by sparko1(m): 10:36pm On Sep 20, 2024 |
Great2017: Who elected them? You are talking about people who were governor in old Bendel state, Edo state was Edo state in 1991 under a military rule. You don't want to compare but you keep mentioning Oshiomhole, he wasn't the first democratically elected governor, just compare properly. Stop trying to eat around an apple, if you want to compare, do it like a man. |
Re: Edo Election: Let The People’s Will Prevail - Punch Editorial by Great2017: 11:29pm On Sep 20, 2024 |
sparko1: I used the lives affected by a leader to assess the performance of the leader. The reason I have mentioned Ambrose Alli, Ogbemudia and Sam Mbakue. I have also included altruism, vision, and tolerance to mindless stealing. In all these counts, Oshiomhole is no where close. Using failure to glorify another failure is a poor index of an objective evaluation. Real men don't glory failures. |
