Event to focus on innovative wellness strategies and inclusive public health practices

The upcoming 2024 ThrivePath Public Health Conference, scheduled to take place virtually on Thursday, November 28th, 2024, at 6:30 PM, is poised to be a transformative gathering of public health professionals, policymakers, and community leaders.
With less than 70 days to the event, excitement is building around this year’s theme, “ThrivePath: Understanding and Navigating Systems for Optimal Wellness and Growth.”

The conference will shine a spotlight on some of the most urgent challenges facing public health today, particularly within Black and Minority Ethnic (BM


The keynote address, titled “Social Determinants as Key Drivers to Well-being: A Systematic Approach for BME Communities,” will explore how social factors—such as housing, education, and income—are influencing health outcomes and what systematic changes are needed to promote well-being.

One of the most anticipated discussions is a panel on “Reaching and Engaging BME Communities as one of the ‘Hard-to-Reach’ Audiences in Public Health Efforts.” The panel aims to address the long-standing barriers that often leave marginalized communities overlooked in health campaigns, exploring inclusive strategies to bridge these gaps.


The conference’s sub-themes will delve into topics such as mental wellness, cardiovascular disease prevention and management, community networks for promoting wellness, and workplace culture as a health determinant.
