Indeed! Are they not citizens that have the right to vote?

DrMPH:

Are you intelligent at all? So, the over 200k votes APC got (according to INEC) where from ghosts? Is politics not about interests? Did you know the background story of how the institution's management resisted Obaseki's reforms that made activities temporarily halted? Won't you think they will be happy?
Does the support of few people validate the travesty every unbiased Edo indigenes (including APC members) know happened on Saturday.

You people are so beholden to evil that it compromises your sense of sound judgement. It is your right to hate Obaseki but politics should never be used as a vendetta against the people. Why is it that only people from a particular part of the country embrace the dark art of criminality? Is it because you love APC so much or the stench of being conquered ?

PS: PDP even won the PU at Oba's Palace, despite the open declaration of support by key subjects of the Oba. It shows we the Edos do not play politics of servitude. If AI can't prove he won the election, then kudos to APC. But stop sounding like a clown.

APC stalwarts in Edo are not even saying APC won the election, they are rather happy about the misfortune of Obaseki (retribution using federal might). But ignorant folks like you will be online making noise.
This your epistle is ridden with gibberish.

some of you talk out of ignorance. Okpebholo is not just a politician but a grassroot man, a philanthropist and a successful business man. Asue on the other hand, is never a grassroots person, in all his years with sterling as CEO, no single functioning branch of sterling bank in Ishan land, and some fools will be on nairaland talking about how he will be a better performer than Monday Okpebholo as if governance is all about grammatical eloquency or your corporate score card.
So having a sterling bank branch in Ishan is now a measure of success? He should start establishing branches everywhere because he was the CEO is that how it works? Smh!

The election was rigged. That is a fact. Edo is not Lagos. Look at the video well. That cannot be 5% of the school. Even if Edo people voted APC it cannot be more than 10%.
Will any sane person vote APC or even vote their candidate. This is 2027 loading . Those saying PBAT cannot win . Obaseki knew Edo cannot vote APC but underestimated that art of APC and INEC in rigging above the will of the ppl

It just amazes me...institutions, churches, mosques, Kings...all these institutions ought to try to be neutral. In the West, they ain't neutral as well. It just ends up bringing about scandals and retributions. Just imagine the result was overturned and PDP now actually wins the election, what would happen to all these folks? Government staff that used to jubilate too...so so unprofessional. We need guidelines around all these issues.

It was not rigged. Obaseki failed woefully and people voted against his party plus his party was divided

By voting apc, some nigerians are crazi

Lolzzzzz 🤣

The worst of any PDP government in nigeria can't be compared to the best of apc government

What will apc led government do for them, but to use 4 or 8 yrs to complain that pdp has destroyed everything and pile up their misery

This shows that causing pain to Obaseki was personal for most. I think Obaseki`s arrogance and performance was the reason the electorates turned around and voted APC. I will not be surprised if the incoming governor also metamorphosize into a mini dictator in a few months. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Thing you never participated in and never witnessed but you are bearing witness to it?
What's wrong with some of you?!

The only thing that happened which I and others witnessed is there was vote buying but if you said rigging took place that should be coming from your dreams.

Obaseki is the first governor to pay the 70k minimum wage without noise

Is this suppose to be an achievement?

Why have we reduced governance to mere payment of services which is natural.
The bar of leadership has indeed be set so low!

By the way ,what's the percentage of government workers vis-a-vis other employers?
