Lekki resort conservation centre is a great tourist site in Lagos state. I think nigerian government should be serious about tourism. It generates more revenue for the economy of countries like Kenya, South Africa, morroco, Egypt, tazania. There are many tourist attractions in Nigeria but our government only focus on petroleum sectors.

Do you know the Conservation Center was shut down due to poor maintenance? Before the chest beating begin we should ask ourselves what really would be the attraction for millions.... then we should ask ourselves what are the distractions.... then figure out if Lagos is really ready to draw tourists like Ghana and Kenya and Tanzania etc. Do we have the potential?...no doubt. Do we have the infrastructure and security for an enjoyable visit? Definitely no. If all is in place ... and they are serious about attracting large number of tourists ... then they will focus on Badagry ... the slave trade route can be the biggest tourist attraction. Ghana has focused on its slave trading history and it is their biggest tourist attraction. What have we done with ours? All the talking... he doesn't say how Lagos will attract millions of tourists.
