Uyo, Akwa Ibom State - Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, wife of Governor Umo Eno, passed away yesterday at a hospital after a prolonged illness.

The state commissioner for information, Ini Ememobong, confirmed the news in a statement released early Friday morning.

According to the statement, the first lady died peacefully in the presence of her family, but details of her illness were not disclosed.
