Gimo Internet Tech. launches news aggregation site Naijasurenews.com to counter Facebook, Google In Africa



Gimo Internet Tech on Tuesday launched a free news aggregation website service,Naijasurenews.com, to address its long-held criticism of how Google and Facebook treat publishers and journalists.
The service uses artificial intelligence to scan more than 100 national and local news sources across the political spectrum .
Gimo Internet Tech CEO Emmanuel Muojeke have criticized Alphabet Inc's Google and Facebook for siphoning the profits out of the news business in Africa by not adequately paying publications for content and preventing smaller publications from showing up in Google searches and Facebook feeds.
