Sim will disobey the judgement and go ahead with the election. But that will be a futile exercise as the Court will rely upon this judgement to nullify the election. Meaning that the LG allocations will not be released to the handpicked Fubara Chairmen. Fubara hasn't done well and can't succeed in his fight against his Boss. 1 Like |

tutudesz: It's a horrible nightmare. How institutions are being misused, abused and destroyed at a pace and magnitude unimaginable should really worry those who intend to live in this country for a long time. Dangerous precedents are set every day. Worryingly, everybody just goes about their normal business like it is all okay. |

givedemwotowoto: Election will hold regardless ba? And you are the one shouting Nigeria is zoo, Nigeria no rul of law but now court restrained your puppet not to carry on with the election and you are saying the election will go on regardless, I swear people like you will one day kill Fubala with the way you are pushing him to his free fall. I ket saying it I don't think any obidient exist with brain not even a mustard seed size of brain because all of you can't reason independently. Remember Fubala battle no longer with APC alone the very day he mistakenly move to APP I will say it clearly to you PDP will fight him so carry on pushing him ok, we shall see. 2 Likes |

Exactly what I stated here. The Rivers state governor keeps messing himself up in the name of he can disobey court orders. He will as usual disobey this but the election is already void if RSIEC does not follow due process. The only people I I pity are those who took loan to contest. If Fubara doesn't have good lawyers, he can as well pick up the constitution and read for himself. |

Re: Rivers LG election: Court bars INEC from releasing voters register to RSIEC by Lacisa: 3:31pm On Sep 30 |
The main issue of concern in this judgement is not even the voters' register that should not be released but this statement. "The court also barred the Inspector General of Police IGP and the Department of State Services DSS from providing security during the election." This means that if they carry out the election in the absense of DSS and police, hoodlums could heavily attack both RSIEC and voters, leading to chaos, bloodbath, inconclusive elections, death etc 1 Like |

Eteka1:Fubara is on the offensive currently, Wike is on the defensive. If the election holds oct5, APP will win everything, so Wike has used his Abuja court to halt it. Fubara came with an offensive attack from the right flank and decide to put the ball in the net from corner but Abuja court has blown foul play against Fubara FC. We will wait for var to check. |
