Absence of Bobrisky: We’ll invoke our powers to arrest you – Reps threaten VerydarkMan

The House of Representatives has threatened to arrest Verydarkman over his refusal to speak to the parliament on his allegations insisting his lawyer will be the one to speak.

According to Verydarkman, his refusal to speak is based on the fact that Bobrisky was not present at the probe.

The Committee Members however insisted that Verydarkman return and answer questions and adopt his claims or else the parliament would invoke its power to detain him.

The chairman of the Committee said “You are not expected to dictate to us whether Bobrisky come here or not, it is left to us to decide, we can also compel him to come before us we can invoke our powers to arrest him

“In the case where Verydarkman refuses to honour this sitting we can invoke our powers.

“The allegation you made has caused this Committee to invite top government officials to come here so you the witness must speak otherwise we will exercise our powers. You must speak to the allegations you made.

“You are here already to testify, I will advise you to go ahead, don’t let anyone deceive you. To the lawyer please advise your client”

A truthful accusation can strengthen a society and improve the laws and systems for the better.
A false accusation (calumny) can do the complete opposite, it can destroy a society and enable corruption.
If Verydarkman had contacted his lawyers and gone straight to the House of Rep once he had Bobrisky's phone call, it would done much good for himself and the country, but he was too impulsive he moved too soon and accused important people with little to no evidence.
"You come at the king you best not miss" I will like to see how it ends.

As a result of releasing the video as he did, not only has he forced the hand of the EFCC, the Prison Comptroller's office, and even the House of Reps to investigate an issue that has been the norm for many decades in Nigeria, but he has successfully forced the focus of millions of Nigerians on the issue to ensure it is put out like many other attempts before his. So, what in the world are you fuming in the mouth for?

Outcome 1: Future Nigerians might be reluctant to speak out against corruption in the future for fear of being shutdown.
Outcome 2: Future Nigerians might be too eager to speak against corruption to the point where they throw accusations without proper evidence, which would 'ironically' hurt lots of innocent and upright people in the country.
Outcome 3: Future Nigerians would learn how to speak out against corruption in a way that does long term good for the society.
