bigfrancis21: Ok yes it doesn't relate to us but then it relates to you. So answer this question Are you of Jewish ancestry? Or you don't know your ancestry so you claim the people you admire most as your ancestors 1 Like |

TerryCarr: They live in a narrow strip of land between Tigrigna and Amhara people in Ethiopia so of course they'll marry from the locals. Their ancestry goes back millennia thus making them among the purest of Jews. The original Jews were tanned/brown in complexion so they looked nothing like those European looking Assyrians. 1 Like |

macof: LOL There are many variations of the colour Brown, its not like I've seen an old age Jew nor can I pinpoint their complexion. What I meant by that inconclusive response is that they could have been a few shades darker or lighter. 3 Likes |

Radoillo: What a silly post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Abundance of Melanin is truly a blessing and not a curse. Melanin is the substance that gives everything in the world its beautiful colour and so can never be a curse. The so-called 'Curse of Ham' has nothing to do with Skin colour. People that lack Melanin will find it difficult seeing at some time of the day. Though, Most of the descendants of Ham were blacks, but what of other people for example Chinese that are of Ham? If you do not know, it was white skin that is a curse (doubt me? Read your Bible and you will find out). 1 Like 2 Shares |

The Jews/Israelites are scattered all over the world. They're not even in Israel today. But, in all honesty, as far as Nigeria is concerned I think the people that fit more to the Jewish heritage are Igbos, without a doubt. There're physical prove of that. 1. Mattew chapter 1 vs 7 reads: And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa. Abis state: God's own state. 2. Genesis chapter 46 vs 16 reads: And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli. Umul-Eri in Anambra state. It literally itranslates as ''The children of Eri''. I'm presently working on a research to track down the original Jews/Israelites of the bible, using Geography and History. My initial findings is very interesting. I've published part of it and you can read it at http://www.africason.com/2015/07/modern-israel-is-not-descendant-of.html?m=1 For more insight, see above link and make sure you watch the video on the bottom of given link. |

musicwriter: If you think Abia was the real name biblical Abia was called then you being deluded, Eri,Arodi aren’t the real names of the biblical people you refer to, I’m sure if you called who we know as biblical Eri by the name Eri in those days , I can assure you he won’t respond. Those names and locations such as Obu-Gad were all forged in the 80’s , the community was known as Obu-Uga which had a different meaning . Eri you refer to as biblical was an Igala warrior who set up camp in Egugwu-Uku known as Enugu today, he didn’t have anything to do with Igbos and the chronology of the Eri kings of Jgboland Eze-Nri has been researched and they do not align with the biblical Eri. |
