Have You Ever Defaulted Paying Back Palmpay Loan? What's Your Experience Like? by Taskathome(m): 1:31pm On Oct 01 |
For instance you're one of those who take loans from Palmpay, and you've never defaulted paying back but this once you had challenge. Was Palmpay fair to you? Did you have good experience with their customer care agents while you're trying hard to pay back? What's your experience like? Kindly share so that others can be warned or others can consider them as good loan app. Secondly, Nigerians are really facing hard times to make ends meet. Many have taken to take a loan from apps before salary comes. Are these loan apps not taking advantage of Nigerians to exploit them with high interest and extra charges for defaulting? For instance you take 10k to pay back 15k in seven days or one month? Is this fair? If at all there should be interest, what do you think the interest should be if the government were to intervene? Honest reviews please. Thanks in advance |

For those already owing (like me) and those thinking about going to borrow from any of them... Never ever make the mistake of taking from one loan app to pay another, maybe u accidentally defaulted... (It's better they threatened u and find way of paying back or allow the late payment interest count till u can pay back Am speaking from experience... Am currently owing 1. Okash 2. Xcross cash 3. New credit And they are all due, I constantly receive threats from the on daily basis, but I can't kill myself... I don't have immediate means of paying back, I will just wait till I have money to pay back ... Though am still battling with the mental stress currently... Avoid loan apps if possible, nah beg I dey beg u 3 Likes 1 Share |

Nigerians are really suffering from the defamation of these loan apps. Calling contacts, raining curses and threatening life out of their customers are what is barbaric and uncalled for. |

Their extra charge for defaulting is killing. Imagine taken 15k to pay back 21k for 14 days or a month. And because you default, their extra charge will now begin to count, within a month you'll be surprised to see 45k. This shows that they don't want you to pay it back so that they can continue to threaten and defame your character. Please run away from them if you know you can't cope or no means of paying back. It's better to ask a friend or family member for HELP than to go through their HELL. RUN 2 Likes |

Taskathome:currently defaulting for the first time. I have collected countless loans from them but always pay back days ahead before due date Na Zenith cause this particular one. My organization uses zenith to pay us salaries but due to their software upgrade lots of people were affected. I couldn't pay up the loan, they're calling while their agents are making threats. But they're cool and even appreciated me for earlier payments. The loan I collected was 40k to pay back 56k. High interest of 16k. Overdue charges now 5k with everything totaling 61k. If possible, stay away from these loan shanks apps. They do more harm than good. Imagine borrowing 35k to pay back 50k in 8 days. Due to Zenith Bank upgrade I couldn't make the payment on 1st October, despite all my plea and struggle to meet up. These guys sent out my name with my picture and contact labelling me a ritualist and organ harvester, that I am my family is on the run. Who ever sees us should report to the nearest Police Station. Omo am still going through the shock and traumatic experience. One thing I can't do it to kill myself. Eventually when the network was restored, the total amount had increased to #66,600. I managed to pay 20k yesterday as a commitment. They insulted the life out of me. With threats for legal actions if I don't complete their money before the end of yesterday. Today them done call me tire. I can't kill myself. What I will do is strive to get the balance of the original amount and send to them. Whatever be the overdue charges na for their pocket. I was tempted to borrow from another 45k to pay 68k in 8days to clear the previous debt, but resisted the urge. I just want to be free from their shackles. Please avoid loan shank apps. They will milk you, squeeze you, dry you and frustrate you. |

I think there should be a body in Nigeria that should regulate these loan sharks. If on top of money that is not up to 10million naira and they tag their customers HIV, robbers and all kind and manners of defamatory names, I think there should be a channel to report their harassment and charge them to court. The truth is that some of them deliberately cause a glitch in their systems so that the repayment could be delayed and as a result add extra changes. This is pure wickedness! Anyone who has borrowed up to three to five times and repaid conveniently should be treated as king. But reverse is the case.. Such a person should be allowed ten years to repay if he default in payment at his/her convenience before action is taken against such. Sincerely the government should do something against these sharks |
