CyrusVI:You don't know what you are saying The way it's going fuel will someday sell for 3k or more. Why can't the government subsidize cooking gas and food if they are concerned about the plight of Nigerians? You must be a beneficiary of this bad government. Shame 2 Likes |

JoeyNaza:Jonathan gave up because he hasn't got the liver of a reformist. Any true reformist must expect attacks and must ride them. No serious reform is painless. |

Vision101: So why was your reformist with a strong liver part of the gang up against positive change, 9 years ago. He protested and wailed with you gullible people at ojota day and night, cooking up various propaganda and all when fuel was 97 per litre. Today, fuel is 1K and you guys are calling him a reformist based on what agbado politics or economics. Face the facts, Tinubu played politics with the truth in 2014, today he is paying for it. Another fact is that you guys voted for a packaged failure and still supporting incompetence. 3 Likes 1 Share |

JoeyNaza:The same way your obi is attacking the reformist of today. Give him the job tomorrow and he will still introduce reforms. After all he campaigned that he will remove subsidy but he is attacking subsidy removal today. |

Vision101: You guys keep making baseless points. Show me one statement where Obi condemns subsidy removal. Please do, I'm waiting. PO clearly stated how subsidy would be removed in phases while transitioning the country from consumption to production, reducing cost of governance etc. Tinubu told you to suffer for change yet he spent $150 million on a presidential plane outside the budget. What everyone is complaining or criticising is the mode of executing such a significant policy. The joker you elected, came on podium, first day of office to declare subsidy removed with no game plan attached, no roadmap, nothing, by that time he hadn't even appointed an economic team or cabinet, nothing. How do you expect the market to react other than in frenzy. Is that what you voted for ? Tomorow some people will be calling others "Nzogbu Nzogbu". Secondly, the builder of Lagos you voted in, made an obvious economic disaster by floating the naira the following month. What wisdom. You removed subsidy and allowed your already weak currency to be exposed to market forces. Do you know what's funny thing, both policies flopped because today, he is still paying fuel subsidy through NNPCL (instead of through private marketers) and he is still intervening in forex market by selling dollar to BDCs at sketchy prices. Who is fooling who now ? You voted in incompetence, simple. 2 Likes 1 Share |
