Fubara Foresees New Political Structure After LG Poll by Ofunaofu: 4:31pm On Oct 01

Gov. Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers says the local government election slated for Oct. 5 will produce a new political structure that is people-oriented in the state.

The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Nelson Chukwudi, quoted Fubara as saying this when he received members of ‘The Simplicity Movement’ in Government House, Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

The group was led by Chief Sobomabo Jackrich, a candidate of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) in the 2023 gubernatorial election.

Responding to the level of public support demonstrated by the group, the governor promised to continue to defend the integrity of the state in the face of ongoing political challenges.

“We must defend the dignity of our state, we must ensure that the commonwealth of this state belongs to everyone.

”This is the reason for our slogan ‘Rivers First’.

‘We believe that if we put the interest of the state above personal gains, we would have addressed the challenges associated with crime, hunger and unemployment,” the governor said.

He urged the electorate to freely participate in the election.

The governor also said that the election when concluded would help his administration chart the second phase of its struggle.

keep fooling yourself with his utterances, because he said he has done what wike did in 8 years on camera you igbos believe him? What do you know about Rivers state igbo man? How many projects flagged off by Fubara Has he completed, I'm not talking about projects he inherited from wike. Since you know so much, drop proof of projects he flagged off and commisioned igbo man wike hater.

Why don't you ask questions about his projects in the state if you don't know anything about it.

Visit which PH?
Fubara is doing absolutely nothing! He has been spending our money on Ugochinyere and other suckers who wail "Wike!" 400 times on TV everyday.

He said our IGR has increased just as our allocation from the FG has increased. What has he been doing with it? Obviously settling political neophytes like himself in a bid to get hold of the political structure like say na em papa organise am.

He will lose this fight because of those backing him up. I know this for a fact!
