That means those beach resorts on that Okun Ajah axis like, Barracuda beach, Redline beach , Atican beach, white deck beach and the over 20 beach resort on that axis will be no more like they did to Landmark beach good beach, sol beach and Oniru beach.
So no more good beach for Lagosians staying on the island
On point , you stay around there let link, I stay Ogombo rd

They should call Umahi to order.. If Igbo properties are encroaching on the coastal roads, then those propeties should be demolished because nobody asked them to acquire lands in mapped out areas in the first instance. He can't be trespassing on other people's lands because he wants to save his Igbo people propeeties that are on the right of way of the coastal highway. That's complete illegality that must not be tolerated.

Yorubas must wake up and stop the destruction of Yoruba properties on Yoruba soil while the Igbo Minister of Works continue to sabotage Government's project to favour his Igbo people. Governor Sanwo Olu should not sit down idle in Alausa and allow Umahi cause Yorubas to revolt in Lagos.
Enough is enough.

Who send you? Is Umahi not your Lord’s appointee? You guys said the government has right to revoke or take any land that they want so what’s the issue on taking a few lands to make the “super coastal highway” that will bring economic prosperity and growth to Nigeria as you all claimed.

C’’mon it’s just a little sacrifice for the greater good, I believe you guys can make the sacrifice.

I dont think it has to do with the ethnicity of those involved, if anything, i even feel its a padi-padi thing that makes him wanna leave the intial plan to divert the road into another

Even if it has nothing to do with ethnicity.. Umahi has no right to leave the approved plan to be doing whatever he likes because of padi padi. That's the height of incompetence and corruption every well meaning Nigerian must condemn.
If tomorrow, the coastal roads start having cracks, who do we blame?. He calls himself an Engineer but doesn't understand structural integrity. All these quacks that go about doing nonsense.

He can be an appointee of PBAT and still be pushing ethnic agenda against Yoruba people silently.. he saved Landmark beach building owned by an Igbo man but demolished a Yoruba man's beach, building and everything without thinking twice.

Now he wants to enter a community not in the approved plan and you expect people to keep quiet?. What manner of man will go about doing such?.

cheesy

Why dem go wan divert road enter where their plan no dey before?

Its beginning to look like some favoritism is involved. Hes bulldozed heavier properties before now, so Umahi should keep to the initial plan

Why divert road cause of some persons?

Dem get two head?

Why was Landmark complaining? The FG left the initial mapped out route for the costal road, an area that is empty till today. Landmark made enquiry before citing his business, he knew the proposed area for the costal road. He avoided it, all of a sudden Tinibu changed the narrative.
You people are waking up now because it has touched your kinsmen.

Unless they count animals and trees as inhabitants.
In that same Ajah,Badore axis, you would find bushes and forested areas with no sign of it being developed in the next 10years.So will they later come out in 10byears time to claim any such community has befn in existence for 500 years?

Every inch of those places you think are forests are owned by one community or another. Obviously excludes any govt. reserved areas.

I knew this Lagos calabar coastal high way road will lead to destruction of lot of people houses, properties, bussinesses..you cannot build a long coastal high way road like this without destroying people properties and bussinesses .. putting people to be homeless, destitute, losing their bussinesses and put them more into poverty, hunger, hardship.. .. instead of a government to come and solve the problems of nigerians but they are adding more problems to nigerians....in which the incompetent Tinubu government would had focus on rehabilitating, repairing, upgrading the other existing federal roads that are on deteriorable and bad conditions which needs urgent attention..it's a pity... renewed hope to renewed shege

Landmark’s building wasn’t disturbing the oceanfront. It was Landmark beach resort that was built on the ocean front belonging to the government. It would have been an injustice to destroy the landmark building as it caused no problems because it was never situated on government land.

Properties that were demolished all sat in the beachfront belonging to the government. It’s not a tribal issue as you’re trying to paint it.

Okun Ajah is an important part of Yorubaland Ancient History involving the Kings of Ijebu

It has relationship with Okun Moba In Lagos which was where the first Oba of Ilesha went to fetch the sea Water used to cure Oduduwa's blindness in the 10 th century ( that is why he is called Owa Obokun)

Okun Ajah people share relationships with the Moba people who were the original Aborigines of Lagos before the Awori arrived and assimilated with them

The 5th king of Ijebu gave the first Owa Obokun Ijesha guides to help him after he got lost and Okun Ajah was one of the places they passed through on their way to Okun Moba where the first ijesha king spent 2 months with the Moba People
This was in the 10th century while Oduduwa was king of Ile ife

Yes you will. You don't wipe out your entire forests just because you want to build a community. If that forest is within the borders of your community, it and that community has been part of it's existence for however long the community has existed.
