Dapromzy333:. What the Bleep is all this regional development commission. All the regions has development commission now, all funds sourced from the same FG. What the Bleep is then the need for ministries, parastatals and agencies |

chudez0147: NDDC have States from South East in it, so it's purely resource based commission, but the new commission will be exclusively South south States alone, Again this is regionalism in disguise, tinubu is a smart man, he's outsmarting northerners in reverting back to regionalism, the next steps now will be to give the commission's power over resources control, if he comes directly northern senators will oppose and kill the bill, Finger crossed, let see how it goes. 3 Likes |

Other regions already has there's so I'm in support of this bill south south should not be left out. Nddc that was established no longer has south south states alone, so every region should be represented equally. Mind you other geopolitical zones commission has already been established so south south should not be exceptional for equal representation. teejay29: |

This is a welcome development. Every region should have theirs inorder to fast track development. Moreover, what is good for South West (South West Development Commission), North West (North West Development Commission) etc etc, Is also good for South South. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Deepocean: You are the joker. It's obvious you guys just comment without reading. There is NEDC, there is SEDC, there is a commission for the NC besides them having another commission for electricity. NDDC includes states from the SW and SE(note that these states in the SE also benefit from the SEDC). So why is the one for the SS different? 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Slimm01:You are one of the few on here with understanding....it is clearly stated, not all the SS states as it is now,are part of NDDC. So I wonder what some peeps are talking about. SS development commission is long overdue. 2 Likes |

The NW have theirs already. Otherwise they would've opposed this bill. They are the real plunderers of other people's resources. SSDC is lo g overdue 1 Like |

Neduzze5: All the loans Nigeria has been building up is because of the crude oil in the the South South and glory be to God we have other states now producing oil and gas. So anything for the Region should be okayed for continua peace in the region , because if there's little issue it affects the loan agreement between our Leaders and borrowers of non-stop daily crude for like God knows how long , so the region has to remain stable. |

NDDC is totally different from SSDC. It's good they realized it finally. People like Clarke can now stop crying whenever NDDC are talking about things that concerns the whole of the States that fall within the Niger-Delta. |
Re: SSDC: South South Development Commission Bill Passes Second Reading In Senate by ChiefJusticeFuc: 7:57am On Oct 05 |
You can all see comments from the 0su pigs here against this bill but when the President signed the bill for SEDC, they were all very happy The reason for their opposition to any SS development is because they see SS as their territory to occupy . This is how they opposed the coastal road project because they see it as an infringement into their territory and also see it as a project that will connect the SS to the SW physically, socially and politically. Ignore the bitter people . |
